Nothing should ever have a fourth movie...
And those were GOOD franchises too. Up until the third of both.
So to answer your question, most films shouldn't even have a third movie.
Yeah... and the only reason why we even HAVE a Ronald McDonald was that McDonalds used to have appearances by local Bozo the Clowns, and just wanted their own clown.
They made ONE.
They made one, and no more ever again.
But in their defense, they shoved the thing before National Treasure 2, and not a kid's movie. A lot of people saw it, but apparently were confused by Nick Cage's strangely new found acting ability, weird green hat, and constant "Ah Hy-UK-s."
You know what?
I hate when someone says "Shut up! It's a kid's movie/project."
Just because it's for kids doesn't mean it has to be a low quality toy commercial that makes their parents want to jump off the nearest cliff. Remember, this is a HENSON based board. We do have higher standards...
I didn't see it yet, but the fact they're starting the movie off with that sort of reminds me of the Spectacular Spider-Man series. That's the villain they started the show with too.
I'm glad we're getting a character that wasn't used before in film form. It's a shame they couldn't do that...
What would make the series perfect is if they had one of the Fraggles introduce and close out the show in a live action segment. Something to the extent of, if anyone remembers, the old ALF cartoon series. You know, where ALF introduced the show saying he's writing a chapter of his life story...
That may not be a great thing, but then again, it might not be such a bad thing either. There are a LOT of people who sign up and never actually become members, and there are a LOT of people who actually sign up for legitimate advertising Spam. But then again, we have those who sign up for one...
Yeah. They clearly went with another coloring agency than they used for Boom (guessing only the original line work was finished). I kinda liked how Animal looked, and when they got it right, they did an okay job... but it takes like 2 minutes of research to get the Pigs in Space costumes their...
Locks seem like a pretty solid solution, especially when it comes to threads about unfinished projects. If anyone has any insider information about the projects, they should feel free to post new threads. But more often than not, we get some random useless reply that doesn't add to the...
If it's any consolation, they're going to start airing ALF reruns.
Sigh... if ONLY they were airing both animated versions of ALF. I'd really be excited about that.
Sometime in the 90's. It wasn't as high profile as the 2001 one, but it happened around around the time of some hurricane that actually hit New York around then.
The problem is, said member didn't do it once or twice. Said member has a history of the same behavior or drudging up old posts and posting head nods with nothing to add to the discussion.
But to reply to someone's question with an "I don't" isn't just unhelpful, it gets the original thread...
Well, I wasn't going to refer to that part... but the whole thing was media panic for dumb parents. The "Every kid has the sex" bit drove me nuts, but not so much as nuts as that rich snot and his book about how HE was able to get something to work for HIM that probably won't work for anyone...
I don't see why it's a concern... I'm just quoting to reiterate a point. It's one I brought up a couple times, but there is a different angle on it, and I repeat ONLY as an "Oh Yeah! TOTALLY" with color commentary.
Still, the take away is, there are projects where the characters were a LOT...
I mentioned the problems with MFS multiple times. The script was extensively labored, the director was a hack that just didn't get the characters (and his masterpiece film is Alvin and the Chipmunks... just saying)... there was a LOT of good Gonzo/Rizzo/Pepe/Bobo/Jeffery Tambor. That was done...
I've accidentally seen those kind of pages when a website isn't renewed or I put a .com where a .org needs to be in place (two whole times)... so I still don't get it. Are they making mock webpages that I probably wouldn't go to, or are they masking actual webpages or what?
Okay... so I was bored and the TV was on and I caught the View's special Parental Outrage day.... nothing really special. More media exaggeration about how the VERY same media that's reporting it is full of sex, therefore every kid on Earth is watching American Pie and having sex as a direct...
And this can't be fixed... why
Sounds like the FBI should have done something about that as well... even kept the "safety net" up a lot longer. Are there going to be new servers?
Something tells me the telecoms aren't going to let that happen. They stand to lose a crap load of money in this...
It's the fault of going from indie comic publisher to mainstream. Disney doesn't have anything to do with it other than not letting them get a temporary extension of the license in the first place.
Still, the magazines only had ads at the end, not interfering with the original comics.
