I saw Secrets of the Muppets too (on Nick), that was awesome!
Jim: And operating Gonzo is Mr. Dave Goelz...
Dave: Well the thing to remember here is that my own personality has absolutely nothing to do with this weirdo! :concern:
All: Oh yeah right!
Kermit: Sure, they believe that...
Yeah the Muppet morsels were one of the best parts, I hope they're still in there.
There was something called Muppets on Puppets years ago. Either that's it and that's a typo, or it's something completely different. If it's the latter, it could be the Muppet characters talking about...
That's ironic, since I've noticed Robin's rendition of Somewhere Over the Rainbow was included in the Muppet VHS Children's Songs and Stories with the Muppets. Hmm...
I never thought of that either! Nice interpretation. :)
Really though, there's no way to rationalize what happens in a comedic movie, or actually in most movies. Things are done for comedic or dramatic effect. If they followed the rules of the real world, it wouldn't be as good a movie. :)
Yeah, interestingly Kelley was mainly known for playing villians in Westerns. His Dr. McCoy role was pretty unusual for him. But he was wonderful, I can't say enough. :)
I've done that too. Petuala Clark was on PBS the other night. I saw fit to point out "She was on The Muppet Show!", even though I knew she'd done a ton of other things! Lol
I just saw it, can't say I loved the stuff Kermit said. But I'm really glad Larry said the Muppets were his favorite interview. That was great of him to say. :)
Yeah, we can't blame Disney for MFS. But I do really dislike seeing how mean Kermit is to Piggy lately. I don't want to say things could never get better with future projects. You never know what can happen. But ::shrugs:: I just don't know. I hope the Fraggle movie will work out. That's all we...
Now this is a nice find, considering how rare it is, the Muppets 3D pre show!

I have to feel sorry for Scooter here, everyone's giving him a hard time, lol. But that's what happens when you're the lowly young gopher! I think my favorite part is when...
Yay! I knew we'd eventually hear something. It all sounds good. I don't mind if it's cut a bit. I mean, I'd prefer it complete, but there's not much they can do if they can't get certain rights. :)
I always say, I liked Elmo fine back in the '80s. Lol
I remember the floppy Floppy disks. Everyone would say, "You can tell these are the Floppy disks, because look! They flop!" Lol
Btw, the darts photo (see above) is back online!
I remember Big Bird going to the adult party too! Big Bird asks where all the games are, but all the grown ups want to do is stand around and talk! Big Bird leaves in a huff and everyone laughs as they say good bye.
I think Big Bird had a point! Adults care way too much about looking silly. Lol
I hadn't thought of it before, but yeah the Liza episode is a good example of a slightly more "adult" Muppets.
I'd have to think about some others, I haven't seen a lot of the episodes for a long time. They're all pretty adult in the sense that there's so many jokes kids wouldn't understand...
