Gonzo: That's a ludicrous thing to say! Leon: What did I tell ya? Boss is no longer driving with a full tank! Heh!

I saw Secrets of the Muppets too (on Nick), that was awesome! Jim: And operating Gonzo is Mr. Dave Goelz... Dave: Well the thing to remember here is that my own personality has absolutely nothing to do with this weirdo! :concern: All: Oh yeah right! Kermit: Sure, they believe that...

    TMS Season 2 coming August 7, 2007

Yeah the Muppet morsels were one of the best parts, I hope they're still in there. There was something called Muppets on Puppets years ago. Either that's it and that's a typo, or it's something completely different. If it's the latter, it could be the Muppet characters talking about...

Most "adult" episode of The Muppet Show.

That's ironic, since I've noticed Robin's rendition of Somewhere Over the Rainbow was included in the Muppet VHS Children's Songs and Stories with the Muppets. Hmm...

    Sweetums in TMM and GMC

I never thought of that either! Nice interpretation. :) Really though, there's no way to rationalize what happens in a comedic movie, or actually in most movies. Things are done for comedic or dramatic effect. If they followed the rules of the real world, it wouldn't be as good a movie. :)

Star Trek XI Movie in 2008?!

Yeah, interestingly Kelley was mainly known for playing villians in Westerns. His Dr. McCoy role was pretty unusual for him. But he was wonderful, I can't say enough. :)

You might be an obsessed Muppet fan if...

I've done that too. Petuala Clark was on PBS the other night. I saw fit to point out "She was on The Muppet Show!", even though I knew she'd done a ton of other things! Lol

Kermit on Larry King 50 Years Special

I just saw it, can't say I loved the stuff Kermit said. But I'm really glad Larry said the Muppets were his favorite interview. That was great of him to say. :)

In Development: Henson's Fraggle Rock Movie

Yeah, we can't blame Disney for MFS. But I do really dislike seeing how mean Kermit is to Piggy lately. I don't want to say things could never get better with future projects. You never know what can happen. But ::shrugs:: I just don't know. I hope the Fraggle movie will work out. That's all we...

I agree! Not to sound all spoiled or ungrateful, but it is frustrating to have to rewind every time you want to hear a song!

    The RHLC!

Now this is a nice find, considering how rare it is, the Muppets 3D pre show! http://youtube.com/watch?v=1yO_8co5TZw I have to feel sorry for Scooter here, everyone's giving him a hard time, lol. But that's what happens when you're the lowly young gopher! I think my favorite part is when...

TMS Season 2 coming summer 2007

Yay! I knew we'd eventually hear something. It all sounds good. I don't mind if it's cut a bit. I mean, I'd prefer it complete, but there's not much they can do if they can't get certain rights. :)

I always say, I liked Elmo fine back in the '80s. Lol I remember the floppy Floppy disks. Everyone would say, "You can tell these are the Floppy disks, because look! They flop!" Lol Btw, the darts photo (see above) is back online!

    Bob Appreciation Thread

I remember Big Bird going to the adult party too! Big Bird asks where all the games are, but all the grown ups want to do is stand around and talk! Big Bird leaves in a huff and everyone laughs as they say good bye. I think Big Bird had a point! Adults care way too much about looking silly. Lol

Most "adult" episode of The Muppet Show.

That's true, I did put Raquel Welch in the "most sensual Muppet moment" thread. That entire scene with Fozzie...steamy!

Star Trek XI Movie in 2008?!

I'm not really into celebrities playing the characters. They're not always cast to type. It's often better when you find an unknown.

Most "adult" episode of The Muppet Show.

I hadn't thought of it before, but yeah the Liza episode is a good example of a slightly more "adult" Muppets. I'd have to think about some others, I haven't seen a lot of the episodes for a long time. They're all pretty adult in the sense that there's so many jokes kids wouldn't understand...
