It was an okay movie but, to be honest, I have only watched it a couple of times. The first three Muppet movies, however, I have watched more times than I can remember!
I didn't realise that Muppet TV was even being aired yet! lol. I've just watched the first episode and the lip syncing is awful. I guess the people in France are used to it tho considering everything else has to be dubbed for them.
The front cover of the regular video and DVD release was the same as the Motion Picture Score. It's a space ship with Fozzie, Kermit, Gonzo, Pepe, Piggy and Animal (with Rizzo hanging on for dear life) sitting in it. There was a release that had the other poster artwork on it. That one is the...
My program is from "The Muppet Show On Tour 2nd Edition" that ran in the late 80's. I managed to colour in all the pictures and write on nearly every darn page! It's amazing what respect we had for these things when we were young. lol.
Picture the scene. It's set in the 70's. The Muppet Show is at the height of it's sucess. A film crew want to do a documentary about the Muppets as they try to make it to the big screen. We have the gang talking about the upcoming movie and the crew follow the Muppets over the years as they go...
I think it'd be great to see a "The Office" or "Alan Partridge" kinda program or movie done with the Muppets. Kinda like a fly on wall documentary but instead of seeing the puppeteers, they make out that the Muppets are in fact real and play characters in the movies they are in. They could show...
Very cool! They deal in Muppet retro. lol. This is the sort of stuff that should be available instead of the newer looking stuff that we usually find everywhere.
Does anyone else have memories of going to see The Muppet Show On Tour back in the 80s? I can barely remember it myself but I know that the original Muppet performers provided the voices and character actors were in the suits on stage. There was also a section of the show dedicated to the Muppet...
This is the way all CD versions of the album are done. Using a track listing or similar instead of the rest of the artwork.

Why don't they release it like this...
I think John Denver has to be the favourite. He just seemed so genuine and he really got into the spirit of the show. I thought the Muppet Show version of "Garden Song" was really sweet.
Don't forget, we are not talking just home video tape here. The video tape used by production companies is much higher quality. Most day time TV, sit-coms and drama programs are filmed on tape rather than film as it has a higher frame rate. The master video tape should be better quailty than a...
There have been pretty good Muppet puppets in the past as well as nice plush toys but this Kermit replica is the very first original looking Muppet for mass sale. Maybe Disney want to see how these poser replicas sell first before thinking about anything else. I can't imagine that Disney would...
Never heard of or seen that version. Sounds very cool tho. :)
In the end credits you can hear Fozzie asking everyone if they thought he was funny, he seems really lacking in confidence about his performance. Kermit is the only one who tells him he was funny. The usual closing music is still...
None of the episodes screened in the UK were ever in stereo. Nor were the video releases. I was quite surprised and happy to hear the original opening and closing themes in stereo on a US DVD.
