    The RHLC!

Interesting, thanks for the description! Sheesh, what is it with Sesame Street and making everyone quack? Lol That was nice to see they used Forgetful Jones though.

Yeah that's always frustrating when you get something and it's not what you remembered or expected. But it is the thought that counts, not a DVD. :) I never saw the 25th Musical Anniversary show, either on TV or DVD. Oddly, I didn't even know it had happened. What was the plot behind the whole...

Should Sesame Street continue after season 40?

Honestly, I think they were feeling the competition from other kids shows, it's a tough business. One of the drawbacks of trying to put education on television, you have to depend on the ratings.

    Favorite Classic Muppet

Lately, I've started liking Miss Piggy a lot more than I used to. In some ways, I wish I could be as spunky as she is. Lol  But for a favorite I'll say Janice is definitely up there. I've always liked the sound of her voice, even as a kid. And she's one of those characters where...

Should Sesame Street continue after season 40?

Well a lot of fans don't mind Elmo as a character, they just object to his monopolizing the show. Plus, the show in general is a bit more childish in its humor now, unlike the "old school" which tried to expose kids to grown up humor and references. In The Works book, it talks about how Jim...

Thought I would share this, Forgetful Jones forgets what language he's supposed to speak! One of the most clever FJ sketches I think! http://youtube.com/watch?v=wT740g-Z6OA

Pirates 3: What did you think? (SPOILER ALERT)

It was alright. It was better than the 2nd one (I quickly got bored there). And the ending was surprising and touching. But the first one was still the best.

Niiice! Yeah everyone needs to do that when they go to England! I didn't know about the Sherlock Holmes museum, I'd definitely like to check that out sometime. Darn! Nessie must have been taking a nap that day! ;) Still, it's a beautiful area (so I've seen on TV!) That is very cool, if I...

Yes, seemingly a lot of mutual respect went around, which is always good. Cool, we've discussed a few things for MuppetNewsgirl to see when coming back from her trip. :)

    Celebrating Frank Oz!

Happy B-day! He definitely is one of the funniest men in show business. I've known his characters since childhood and he never fails to deliver. Even more impressive, I remember what the old 60 Minutes special said of him: "...whom many consider the greatest puppeteer in the world!" Nice! Hehe...

    The RHLC!

It does sound like an interesting job! This is from an article with Muppet performer David Rudman from The Chicago Sun-Times: "His first day on "Sesame Street," he was assigned to be a right-hand man, supplying the right hand for a character while a more experienced puppeteer was to work the...

Some ways to improve Sesame Street

Oh yeah I don't dislike either show, they're both very cute. And I like that Dora's about a girl. Just that they're cute and that's about it, heh.

That's why I say just because popular doesn't mean it equals quality.
