I have made a little step to step guide, it's not finished yet, but it has info on making the foam head, for those here that have asked on info about it. I also would like for the pros here to look at it and maybe give me some tips and pointers on how i can make it better - if ya want ;)...
i've seen those eyes, they are great. although i want them full round, not halfes. I'm just gonna go for the styrofoamballs, and put some shiny glossy on them ;)

You know, i was watching Fraggle Rock, and was looking at their eyes and i thought, hey, i haven't figured out how to make those kind of eyes for my puppets... :rolleyes:
does anyone know, because i am getting ready soon to assemble a puppet, and i will need some eyes....

yes, you can do that, but you will not get the bend tha kermit, wembley, red and so many others has in their mouths.
That's what gasket rubber is good for ;)

I asked my moms husband about gasket rubber. He's a plumber so he should know. Well, their supplier has some, i got a test-piece. It seemed good enough to use for mouthplates, BUT, the price was really high. One piece of one meter cost $150 !!!!

Thank you both for your support. It's great to see that you care. i am going to think over my errors for a while, and soon i'll go out and buy som antron too. The glue i used was in a tube, so it was sticky and yucky. I will definately consider some glue that can be brushed on. Anyone got...
i just made the worlds ugliest puppet!
My first try at a handpuppet was a total disaster....
Sure, making beaker and Sam models was easy, but when i tried to make a handpuppet, it just screwed up for me. Well, everyone needs practise in the beginning. At least i know where i went wrong...
