i can not sy it enough times, tom...EXELLENT!
when you say chef is carved from foam...is it like you have a big square foam cube or something and cut out the shape from that???
Isn't that extremely hard to get it correct?

Well, you might have seen my puppetbuilding-site, where i have put a step by step buide to building a foam-head. Well, now i have a puppet-building forum there, so if you are into that, you are welcom, pro or amateur.

Tom, now that's just AMAZING!!!!
I love all the puppet's you've made (haven't seen the rest yet). Especially the muppet replicas. Now that's what i am aiming to do!!!
Could you please go ahead and tell us what techniques you have been using? I'd love to know, and so would most of us...
this is great info, buck, thankx! It seems logical now that you mention it, piggy could be complicated to do with ordinary foam.
I have heard about this flocking before. It could be interesting to learn more about it, but that would have to be a much later step in my learning-process ;)

No offence there, but if you don't know what materials to use, then you probably shouldn't go ahead and try to build a miss piggy puppet.
Try something easier, Bert, Earnie or other basic puppets. Start from the bottom and work your way up, it's easiest that way :D
/Anders
Jake, no i haven't tried it, but i am very convinced it's gonna work ;)
I think i'll perhaps try it newxt week, after i have fleececovered my current work.
/Anders
o boy, makes me think how much jim is missed in all of us...
Well, CG the doozers seems really cool, but only if they could get that fleece look out of Cg ;)
It seems that some things are kinda in the way, but i don't think it would be impossible to see another production in the future...
I think that henson should do another Fraggle Rock production. It woud be great to se a new season.
Since we live in a hyper modern community today, doc could invent some really modern stuff, like a teleporter or something, and accedently teleport matt out to the modern world, to explore...
I have been comparing Fraggle Rock in english and swedish, and have come to the conclution that the swedes did a h*ll of a good job with the voices.
Gobo - Sounds basicly like the english version, although in swedish he has a little more bass in his voice. The English one sounds a little more...
Just thought of something i have been wondering about. i wonder how one would make cheeks on the puppet, as the fraggles have. (Can you tell i want to make a fraggle? :D)
I hope you know what i mean. So if anyone knows...
Thanks
/Anders
Grant,
you don't have to stuff the foam head, it stays that way. Stuffing it would only result in it getting heavier, i think.
Sure, post pics when you are done
