Conversely, maniacs shouldn't hide behind responsible gun owners. That's flawed logic. We can't directly after the crazies, why? Look at it this way. Not every Mormon is Warren Jeffs. When we captured him and punished him, we did it specifically to deal with him, and we didn't round up...
I'd like to add another rant. Darth Boener has been re-elected by his hive minded cronies to be Speaker of the house again. After ALL the crap he pulled. Even fellow Republican Chris Christie thinks Boener's a ******. That says something.
So.. uh, the American people can't vote for Speaker of...
When does the show come back? After It Came from the Depths, there's been no new episodes.
Other than that, the show has solidly gotten better with each passing episode. And oddly enough, this has the darkest incarnation of Leatherhead yet.
Ehhh... Youtube's tricky because NONE of the comments on Youtube are ever warranted. That person's "OK" type comments are the least worrisome thing you can find on YT.
We need to do that too. But not every gun tragedy is caused by someone who has a history of obvious mental illness. Just the last 2. Not to mention how broad stroke it is to diagnose mental illness. And if we're going to go after depressed loners, we're going to go after everyone that fits...
Or for the lobbyists.
Doing nothing, I repeat, is doing nothing. We can't go around whining about how something needs to be done when history repeats itself for the billionth time and not actually do anything. If nothing gets done, it happens again no matter what. Responsible gun owners...
Here's what I want to see for the next Old School set.
clear the rights to the freaking theme song before you do anything else! Saying anything about the Old School 3 set is looking a gift horse in the mouth, sure... but it makes NO sense whatsoever that they can't clear their own theme song.
That's why I'll NEVER look a January/February movie release in the mouth again! A movie that Pixar refused to make, that Disney barely cared about, that they had to release as a contractual obligation made money because it was the only family film during a vacation weekend. Meanwhile, John...
Because that's the hip thing. Things that look barely like something. I like Pookawhatevers, and I think they were cut down in their prime before we could get more Muppets and a Marvel line (which would have turned things around). Disney owns Star Wars now. Star Wars Pookalooz? Collectors...
Passing laws only do nothing because they're poorly written, and crooked gun owners (the crazy militia types) will find loop holes in them. It's not a matter of passing more legislation, it's a matter of passing tough legislation. You can't build a nuclear bomb in your basement, but that's...
I'm going to double post for 2 reasons...
1) I'm not entirely alone in thinking Partners blew. TV Guide named it the worst show of 1998. There couldn't be a sharper critique of the show than that.
2) I forgot to add one more bit.
My favorite Toy Line of the year
S.L.U.G. Zombies from...
Eh, it's what Glee does. They've done it at least 3 times now, taking an internet based song and performed it ironically. They did it with "Friday", Someone told me they did Gangham Style... besides, you'd be hard pressed to find a song they didn't mangl...errr...cover.
Speaking of Gangham...
Hmmm... maybe that's why they're releasing Planes instead. They already had a movie that was ready.
UGH! Jay Jay the Jet Plane. That's it's own special brand of horrible.
On the plus side, they just got the rights to Animaniacs. They even had a rare Christmas episode and the movie on to promote it. You know, the one where they use Slappy Squirrel's tree as the Tree in Rockefeller Center? Only saw that once online.
It really doesn't matter. The movie was going to be released DTV anyway. I guess they needed an August movie and instead of spending money making a sleeper film, they figured they had a movie already done. So whatever money it makes will be icing when the home video release is the cake...
I'm afraid the merchandise will lead to a slippery slope. I'm purposely avoiding the IDW comics (well, also because I barely can afford the ones I get in a month span), even though it has a lot of Muppet comic talent behind it (Amy and Katie). Plus, I hate "real hair" on toys. But for my...
Yeah... that's the only show I consider watching I call a guilty pleasure. I absolutely hate the fact I like it. Plus I have to admit I'm kinda disappointed by the Spike merchandise. And the lack of Snips and Snails stuff. Talk about Ensemble Dark Horses, right? But I am just so incredibly...
Actually, the rare sight is a movie that's book accurate. Wizard of Oz, while a wonderful movie in its own right, but changed quite a bit. Then of course there's the case of Watchmen where every comic book fanboy decried the changes to the movie, even though the changes were quite minor and...
