Well the Brady Bunch films were meant to be parodies. :)
If they had made a Muppet movie as a longer Muppet Show, then yeah I definitely think we would have seen a more extensive, realistic set like in Follow That Bird. Would definitely have been interesting, and I'm sure good. But it might...
Well to be fair, I don't think it's just the critiques of Disney that creates the negative feeling. People have made a lot of good points on the subject. Again, it's us sometimes not being able to let people have their opinions and move on, on both sides of the argument. I'm not pointing out...
But like, doesn't the fire burn the marshmellows? Hmm, there's some symbolism there! On the other hand, marshmellows and fire can together to form a tasty treat! Even more symbolic! ;)
Hehe, well the thing is people are always going to post things we don't like. Sometimes we (and that includes me) need to know when to ignore and keep walking, so to speak. ;)
I think critiques are important. If you don't critique every now and then, change will never come. And we are all allowed to post our feelings. But yes, sometimes the debating does get hostile and that is wrong. :)
Actually I had the same experience and I did end up changing my order to speedy shipping this time. It arrived on Septmber 11th to my amazement. I wouldn't do speedy shipping everytime cause it is slightly more expensive, but every now and then doesn't hurt. :)
I actually have pretty vague memories of Fraggle Rock, though I know I watched it. But I seem to remember that I used to have the very first episode on tape. I always recalled Gobo saying to Mokey, "I'll tell ya, Mokey, when you're wrong, you're really wrong!" Lol
The one I remember most...
I definitely did think that too. Although he resembles him more in appearance than in temperment! Hehe
Well you do get to see him in the Scared Silly segment of the bonus features. They have been trying to include him on the sets, which is great.
Yeah his Muppet impression were a little off (though not that bad), maybe he needed more time to develop them. Or he could have been thrown off by the whole puppet variable. But besides that I thought his other impressions were dead on. That's a great talent he has. As a person who somewhat...
Nope, I adore that episode! Though a lot of people seem to hate it. But I really enjoyed seeing Mark Hamill demonstrate his off-beat silliness, something he was not able to do with Luke. Did you know he and Richard Hunt ended up being good friends after this episode?
"I have been watching them...
Ah ok, thanks. A lot of people here seem to point out guest stars who seemed pompous or phoney. I don't think I've felt that way about anyone yet. ::shrugs:: Though, I can imagine plenty of potential guest starts today who would be considered phoney, hehe.
I probably was looking forward to this set more than Muppet Show Season 2. It sounds rather spoiled, but these days audiences look forward more to the bonus features than the episodes themselves!
Well I just wrote to HIT, this was the response:
Hehe, well it's never too early to make your comments known! I'm glad they have a good customer service department. A lot of companies just ignore emails. :)
Actually it's not as odd as you'd think. I had a young relative who couldn't read yet, but was better at working the computer than any of us! :)
As I said in the Skeeter thread, the Muppets have no perceivable canon because they're following the tradition of Vaudeville and 1930s films.
