Sesame Street DVD for injured veterans

I would love if they did a piece on Fire fighters or Police officers at any time, they would definitely deserve it. But I don't mind them showing soldiers either. This war may be unjust, but sometimes war is unfortunately necessary. If WWII hadn't been fought, the world would be a very...

    The RHLC!

Absolutely, I do think adult actors who work with children have a certain responsibility. You don't have to be great with kids, not everyone is. But child actors are in a big scary world with all these experienced (and often bitter hehe) grown up professionals. They look to the adult actors for...

    The RHLC!

Glad you liked it, Beau, and thanks for posting! Ok, I had the idea to write to puppeteer Rick Lyon a few weeks ago. He was very nice to write back and share his memories of Richard: "Nothing really to share that people don’t already know. He was immensely talented and funny, a born...

Sesame Street DVD for injured veterans

I agree, the point might be made better with a different character. But they are generally sticking to one, heh.

Rowlf and The Swedish Chef on Saturday Night Live

I didn't notice until now but...Janice playing...the tambourine? ! Wow, that is like sacrilege, fer sure! However, I personally liked the Swedish Chef impersonation. :)

    5 Questions for Cheryl Henson

I believe Cheryl Henson spoke briefly about the AIDS quilt made for Richard Hunt in the book Quilting with the Muppets. What is your favorite memory of him?

Disney Channel Preps for Muppet "Mini Movies"

No problem! And maybe anyone who writes in could also put in a good word for Adventures in Wonderland (It really should be on DVD by now, but I digress! lol) And yes, constructive criticism can definitely bring about change. :)

    Why isn't Skeeter a Muppet?

That's actually pretty typical when TV shows make the effort to include a female character. They don't want her to appear too "girly" because that might offend people. So they make her a full blown tom boy. Which is also problematic in my opinion heh, but at least Red and Skeeter were good...

    Baby Bean

I liked Bean Bunny on Muppet Babies, he was cute (hehe) in himself. But he was the classic "jumped the shark" character.

Disney Channel Preps for Muppet "Mini Movies"

Well I emailed Disney through this email once (when I was trying to find out if Adventures in Wonderland would ever be put on DVD hehe). It couldn't hurt, as long as you're respectful. People used to write to HIT about Fraggle Rock after all. disneyinfo@disneyhelp.com And I prefer both...

Disney Channel Preps for Muppet "Mini Movies"

Oddly enough, Sam and Floyd (usually polar opposites) fit that category in my opinion. :attitude: :sing:

Disney Channel Preps for Muppet "Mini Movies"

Lol, well I imagine there's room for both Boobers and Sidebottoms on this issue. ;)

Disney Channel Preps for Muppet "Mini Movies"

I don't want to put words in Jim Henson's mouth here, heh, but I imagine he would want us to think for ourselves. If we have an opinion either way, we should state it, as long as we're respectful. :)

Rowlf and The Swedish Chef on Saturday Night Live

Wow, that is surprising! I haven't watched all of it yet but I'm glad they thought of this sketch. I do think SNL was only really good in the first couple of seasons. Though some of the recent cast members are funny; I always laugh at Maya Rudolph. :)

    Internet DVD scalpers...

Yeah I've learned to be careful on Amazon when buying from third party sellers. I mean you'd prefer to purchase the less expensive ones. But you know what you say, you get what you pay for! If it's not that expensive, it's often not worth buying. But I've drawn the line at purchasing anything...

    The RHLC!

Interesting dream, makes sense since we were talking about that recently. Actually that's a good segueway...hehe... The person who posted this clip says it was one of Jim Henson's last Sesame Street clips. The message of the song is lovely and surprisingly poignant (and very much in line with...

    TMTM: Kermit's Accident

I don't recall the very first time I saw the scene, but yes it was always very upsetting. The real strength of MTM is the emotion it evokes. :)

I have seen that one, but thanks for posting, Meep! And it possibly confirms what I often suspected. That 1st season Janice's voice was sometimes dubbed in after the fact. ;)

Fraggle CD collection arrives October 30

I think with these releases they are mainly thinking of general fans who have never had any songs on CD, rather than major fans who have heard everything, hehe. I'm not a big fan of being happy just to get anything. Not to sound spoiled, but these things tend to be expensive so I look more...
