You know what's so frustrating? Apparently the Mickey Mouse Club TV show from the late '80s/early '90s had a contest and the winner got to spend a day with Jim Henson and friends (including Richard) and watch them put the 3-D show together. This boy won and they filmed the whole segement, but...
Oh here it is! The pre show from Walt Disneyland:

And here's Walt Disneyworld, (don't know if there's a difference lol):

Remember, this is Richard's last major project with the...
Lol, yup that was when Scooter was put in charge of the 3-D Pre Show and the other Muppets proceed to make his life very difficult, lol. Gonzo gets him to leave by saying the phone was ringing. Scooter eventually comes back, only to find Gonzo surrounding him on the different monitors. He looks...
Lol, yeah I think that's a great idea for a signature!
I also remember when Fozzie, Scooter, Annie Sue and Link are singing "The Rhyming Song, which goes horribly wrong! (Heh, heheh, see that, that rhymes!)
;) "I was hungry now I'm not, the rhyming song, the rhyming song. Cause I ate some...
This one I had mixed feelings about. I thought the humor and attitude were just way off target for the most part. But I did find it touching when Kermit realizes he shouldn't have wished he was never born. And I personally thought Whoopi did a good job. :)
Unbelievable...Well I do appreciate the advice, but I'm still planning to show my kids the classic material as I feel it more than meets the educational requirements. ;)
The John Denver CD is on BarnesandNoble.com (the 2006 version is the uncut). I highly recommend!
Yeah I mentioned "When the River Meets the Sea" before. See we do agree on something! ;)
I also really enjoy "It's Christmas Time" from The Great Santa Claus Switch.
Bert and Ernie singing together, like in "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" and "Silver Bells."
I also love "Keep Christmas with You" when Linda and the kids surprise Bob with their sign language version of...
Lol, yesheraldeee, niiice! Ok thanks, I thought I read that the song was cut! Yeah it's sort of the classic "this scene can afford to be cut", heh. Though I often find it's those scenes that have the most feeling. :)
Regarding something else MN said, about Richard's softer characters in turn...
Absolutely, while I can be critical of the more recent projects, I do realize that they're being done under very difficult circumstances. One thing I definitely appreciate about MCC is Paul Williams' music. It helps make up for the lack of Muppety feeling (just my opinion of course hehe ).
I...
MCC wasn't one of my favorites, but I appreciate it more when I see it as a tribute to Jim and Richard.
ToughPigs has done some hilarious and touching reviews of Muppet Christmas specials in the past. For MCC, they commented on the scene where Bob Crachit/Kermit mourns Tiny Tim/Robin...
I am really bad at saving files, but it is terribly important. I sent my computer to get fixed once and I had no idea they would wipe the entire hard drive! I should have saved my files on a separate disk, but I didn't know.
I do agree that banning a user is a bit harsh. Or at least, if they...
Awesome, thanks for pointing that! It really does make the holidays complete. :)
Also wanted to mention that the CD is also available at BarnesandNoble.com (the 2006 version is uncut).
Yes, Beige was such a good character, you really see the struggle he's going through. In the beginning he really doesn't mind putting Mokey in a cage, he just really wants to be a good efficient "Security Fraggle." But as he gets to know her, he begins to struggle with his conscience, which...
