It's just that I've seen from experience that good sales don't always mean a company will continue releasing items. I don't want to be negative, it is still definitely possible. But it's still in question when it really shouldn't be.
I'm just concerned that they'll just stop producing items once the sets are done. Maybe I'll write to customer service. It may not be much, but it's better than complaining and doing nothing, hehe.
Also, I think Muppets Go to the Movies was only released in the UK. As great as the US is, there is this attitude with companies that they won't produce items that they think aren't "mainstream" enough.
Man, now I had a very strange dream last night!
I was getting on a bus and this particular bus had a DVD player and a really big screen in the front. I put my DVD in, which seemed to be Richard at his going away party thing. I was enjoying it for awhile but then,to my horror, I realized I had...
I used to really get grief for liking Star Trek and the Beatles. Kids really can be so cruel. If they've never heard of something, it must be bad. Plus our society doesn't altogether tolerate those who want to live their own way. I do think people like that are inwardly jealous because they...
Yeah exactly, just a few people making it worse for the rest of us. Like I said, my Blockbuster is still pretty easy going with late fees, and it's great. Well, probably some people have to wait forever for their tape to get returned, but that hasn't happened to me yet. Plus, I think most people...
Hmm, well at the Blockbuster I go to I think the rules are you can keep it a little past the due date, but after a certain amount of time, they charge you for the DVD. I think the rules are different depending on the store.
Personally, I think it's great to do away with late fees, but if the...
Hmm, well I see what you mean, but I don't think kids will then think it's OK to talk to strangers. Hopefully they do have parents who teach them well, and hopefully that's their most important role model. I think the clip is just saying that if you're in a social situation, the only way to get...
I know and it's frustrating. Copyright laws, in theory, are intended to protect the artist, or make it possible for their work to be heard on a large scale. But lately the laws just end up depriving the audience.
And it's true that Bonus Features are intended to be just extras and not the...
I know, that is definitely a possibility. But on the other hand, letting them know that they can release these sets without putting as much effort to the special features just sends the message we don't mind. And to be honest, I do. I don't want just anything to be released. And based on...
The thing is, we're not always going to have the same tastes and the same interests. We may even actively dislike something someone else likes. But it's important to just let it go to a certain extent and respect people, even when they don't agree with you (whether they like Sesame Street, or...
I definitely wish Craig Shemin luck with the negotiations, it must be difficult. But the BTS documentary of Emmet Otter was great! :)
I am going to wait and hear more detailed reviews of Season 3. It's great to have the actual episodes out, but the special features are worrying me. There's so...
Ugh, lol.
Though, I am going to wait and hear more detailed reviews of Season 3. It's great to have the actual episodes out, but the special features are worrying me. There's so much potential that's not being used. These sets are expensive and unfortunately lately I've felt it necessary to be...
Right now, listening to "Arthur's Theme (Best That You Can Do)", by Christopher Cross, for the 1981 film Arthur (starting Dudley Moore).
I don't know, it's one of those special songs that even though I only just heard it for the first time recently, it feels like I've known it my whole life. I...
I remember Elmo in the '80s and he was fine then, cute and funny even. The little kid monster trying to be like all the grown ups. The problem now is that instead of trying to be like the adults, the kid has taken over the party, so to speak.
Cool, MN, especially the magic mirror part, where do you suppose that came from?
I picked up a copy of the magazine Wired today, and I noticed it had a piece on the The 9 Best Sidekicks Ever. And who do you think made the list? Our own lovable lab assistant, Beaker!
"Strengths...
