I'll say this for the umptillionthscrabbadillionthfantastizillionth time...
They completely dropped the ball in having random Dave Nephew instead of Mrs. Miller. The character was everything that's wrong with the human characters in kid's movies. Flat and with a random love story to pretend...
Watching the season 16 episodes again, I can't so much say the animation is terrible (at least on the level of Gofrette.... look that up on Youtube... it's terrible. You can almost hear creaky hinge sounds when the characters move their arms... and they only have a 3/4th view of their heads)...
I take it back.
Look at this Transformers Wikipedia article on Cannon (disambiguation
Actually... the best fan wiki I've seen so far is the Transformers Wiki. By far the funniest, anyway.
Some shows are more hands on than others. But if you have a show that's right out of the box a hit, regardless of executive screw ups, it's tough to keep that spark up. Heroes, Desperate Housewives... there's so many shows that have a strong first season and then just peter out after 2 more...
Shows that are initially popular have a hard time keeping up quality, and have a difficult time trying to recapture the spark that made them popular in the first place. Look at Heroes. Even the writers didn't know what to do with the show after season 1.
I just could never get into Glee. I...
I'll give it this... at least it looks better than Planes, at least visually. And no Dane Cook.
I honestly can't see why critics are giving it decent to good ratings, unless this is one of those times that the trailers are produced with the worst parts of the film.
I don't see why they can't, at the very least, do what they did with the Hidden Gems and, again... at the very least, have older characters stand in the audience when they have that one episode a season where they have a crowd of people.
I don't know if it qualifies as popular, since it's always on the brink of cancellation and somehow keeps getting renewed, and I don't know anyone who even watches it.
But Parenthood.
I mean, they tried to market it as this funny little thing from the people behind Arrested Development, and...
While it is Summer vacation, it's also a non-Holiday. Any money they would make on a Wednesday wouldn't even be that much, as most theaters offer matinees on non-holiday weekdays. Despicable Me 2 had the pleasure of being released just before the fourth of July. It depends on the weekend...
I realized that I can't really so much deal with depression so much as trying not to be completely devastated every time more horrifying surprises pop up every day.
I don't care if it's based off a comic book. There's nothing about RIPD that says anything but "Men in Black with Dead people." I'm sure if it was screened for critics, they're waiting until the day the movie's released to review it.
In still find that poorly researched article I posted a...
Fast and Furious is clearly the reason this film was made. Heck, the TV spots make it out to be Fast and Furious-esque.
But Samuel L Jackson is in it. It's worth a shot. He makes bad films tolerable.
And the fact that the very same critics who took a dump all over Man of Steel for being "disappointing" for some reason (as if any of the other Superman movies were better) are praising Snail Film. But I guess it looks so stupid from the previews, that everyone's expectations were so incredibly...
I'll give them this. The original Paramount DVD's are out of print by now, clearly. At least this keeps those same episodes in circulation. I really wish they'd do something for older fans, but they're only interested in the 5 year olds that still like the movies.
Uhoh. Know what it's time for?
UNpopular shows I hate:
Green Screen Adventures: WHY?!?!?! And it's on, like, 3 channels over here. How cheap is it to produce!?! Of course it is. Untalented teenage/20 somethings maybe jumping around like idiots. Something kids desperately want to see...
Exactly what they're doing. There's some new show, I forget the name of that they're going to premier in the Fall. That's probably going to get the 8:30 slot.
Okay... I remember what happened with Google Chrome. The video did indeed load, but for some strange reason, the fullscreen didn't work. It made everything black but the small, same sized video.
Anyone have the Soundtrack The Simpsons: Testify?
I bought a Used copy and all the songs work except for the last 2 songs on the CD...
I just need:
Dancing Workers Song
and
Oldies and Nudies
