Because there was totally a comic book version of Kick *** 2? There are at least 3 KickAnus comics, I don't see how this is sequelitis so much as an adaption of another story.
I am exceedingly disappointed with Jim Carrey on this one. Everyone else involved in the movie thought he did an...
Let's be honest. The worst thing animated Batman was ever associated with was Super Friends. Even the 1970's cartoon with Batmite had some intentionally fun moments (though I wish they got Larry Storch back as The Joker... I'm not crazy about Lennie Weinrib's interpretation). I will say I...
I'm going to try to be as fair as I can here.
While I do think the fact that Disney is pushing tween stars (something they've started up again) is a damper on the film, I'd only complain about it if they were the main characters or had a large role. They clearly won't. There is one more...
It's one of the many segments SW made for international versions. Whatever happened to it is anyone's guess.
Somehow Korea got it. I can tell from the Korean writing.
Kinda disappointing. All I can say. I was going to say something about how SW has all these unused segments that they never put on the show yet they always have a budget crisis, and other than the Ernie and Bert animations, nothing is new. When the press release of the segment popped up, they...
It isn't?
Still... if they're strapped for episode ideas, remaking older episodes with newer characters doesn't seem like a terrible idea. I mean, we will know, but the kids who watch the show won't. It's exactly what they do for Doraemon.
Is there one for, say...
When there's a device/object that turns the good guy into something that he has absolutely no control over (a villain, a mindless destruction machine, or a split personality) YET the villain uses the same thing with perfect control while retaining the same personality...
Luis looks like a dead ringer for a human version of The Count.
This episodes' gonna be epic.
(oh, and I wasn't surprised the actual press release got it wrong... see complain about the loose definition of "spoof" above).
I would have bought the shirt anyway, but seeing Scooter, Rowlf, Pepe, and Robin there just made me have to have it. Every time I see a Muppet shirt it's either Kermit, Animal, or maybe those two and Fozzie and Gonzo. I had a really nice Electric Mayhem shirt I wore too much and it got ruined...
To clear up a misconception, the Winston ads weren't pulled by the government, but rather by Winston themselves for showing the hedonistic and unwholesome act of having a woman be pregnant.
Absolutely stupid, no?
I take it this way. Retro commercials don't feature Max from Blue Tax. That...
2 episodes in and it's already one of my favorite Batman shows. Watch everyone who complained about the show cry their eyes out when this gets unjustly cancelled at some point.
The Magpie episode was brilliant. I have had a suspicion for some time that they only make "Kids" cartoons for...
I recall there was such an insane glut of movies that came out that Holiday movie season. They had at least a summer's worth in a 2 week period. It's partially why The Muppets didn't get the potential it deserved. Still, they decided on a gimmick plot, a G rating (only Pixar gets away with...
The real spoofs seem relegated to the new Cookie Monster segment. Pirates of the Caribbean, Life of Pi, and the standard James Bond parody. There are basically 2 show parodies listed (both cable shows, probably why you never heard of them. I've only heard of Homeland through reference)...
You know who's worse?
Donkey Kong Jr.
Essentially the same character in an even worse show. And get this... his catchphrase is "Monkey Muscle."
The word Expy has never been used so appropriately.
Having seen those Scrappy cartoons, Scrappy WAS the reason they always ran from stuff...
Probably has a stronger filter.
I hate that they go ballistic after clips. Clips do nothing but make you want to watch the full show. It's free advertising as far as I'm concerned.
Saw this at JC Penny and had to grab it.
Someone is going to see through the fact that Scooter, Robin, and Rowlf are on a commercial T-Shirt and complain that there's only 3 members of the Electric Mayhem on there. I just know it.
But really... SCOOTER! And ROWLF! And this weird...
Okay, someone has to agree with me that the listing for spoofs is freaking pathetic.
Ye-e-e-e--eahhhhhhh... a spoof of something that hasn't existed since the 80's. Good call.
Really?!? A spoof of the Olympic Games? How could you possibly get any...
Yes. That happened. There are no...
While it is only 2 years away, I think this movie may just completely flop. The kids who actually liked the films are probably going to be old enough to stop bothering with them. Hopefully 4 years will be time better spent on getting a good plot.
