Yeah, Sal Rocks! a bit of a transcript of Muppetfest stated that "Everyone fell in love" with this little monkey that they made. As I recall Muppet Treasure Island came out just before "Muppets Tonight," but it was almost at te same time. It made me think that MT was just a gimmick to promote...
Well they claimed there was no food, but then the Chef made a great steering wheel al dente for everyone to enjoy.
Something I DIDN'T make up
Statler: This is the happiness hotel!?
Waldorf: Does it make you happy?
Statler: Yes, happy we're not staying here....
I saw that version of Clifford on one of the loading screens for "Muppet Racemania" I think he looks cool like that, and I wouldn't mind seeing him in those clothes. I'm sure he's even tired of the Arsenio-style vests, the green dress shirts and yellow ties they usually put him in. Definately...
The bears from TMTM were natural-born bears that fozzie tried to hibernate with after parting ways with Kermit. I doubt the female baby bear is, in fact, Bobo, but perhaps Bobo comes out of the same herd. After all, when Bobo made his debut on Muppets Tonight, Kermit already seemed to know him...
Of course, it's FREE. Just so long as I didn't order room service. If there wasn't little multi-colored hairs in my food it'd be holding an engaging conversation with me.
I think they told us more about Gonzo then we ever wanted to know. However, I did read in the henson.com's question of the week that Gonzo is supposed to be closely related to a Turkey. Hah.
I'm trying to find a name for a character from "Muppet Treasue Island" he was red with antennae, 6 arms, and a french accent. Gonzo stuck him to the side of the ship using starfish. I believe he could be a pre-inspired Pepem either him or the spider from MCC.
I like their idea of "The Cheapest Muppet Movie Ever." I don't know why they sit on this idea, it's pure gold, and JIM HENSON HELPED CONCIEVE IT! It could even be made better since there are now a bunch of second string characters from MT that can join in after all the main people like Kermit...
I prefer that he has eyes. It breaks the tradition of every once member of the Electric Mayhem, besides Dr. Teeth, has his eyes shut or blacked out. animal is included in that group cause of most of the early days he had his eyes perpetually shut as well.
Kermit - The calm in the storm.
Piggy - She adds a little class and glamour to an outing.
Gonzo - He'd have lots of interesting stories, and he'd play with the food, and we can borrow eachother's shirts. :D
Fozzie - He seems to enjoy a meal, and he could tell a few jokes.
Johnny...
I dunno if Mahna Mahna series would work because Mahna and the pointy-haired guys have a retro 60s feel to them. Keep Mahna as he is but give him freakier counterparts to deal with (That fuzzy bug-eyed koozebanian from Muppets Tonight is a good example.) and you have the most surreal family...
Well the official Henson response to that is, and I'm paraphrasing: "The cute ones are the muppets, the scary realistic looking ones that come out of Creature Shop we couldn't possibly consider to be Muppets." So the muppets are the bug-eyed pink skinned fluffy ones while the Creatures are the...
Snuffy has a real name because from his debut people called him "Mr. Snuffalupagus." Later it was reavealed sometime in the mid 80s, (I remember cause I saw the episode when it aired as a little tot) That his name was "Snuffy." Therefore his full name is "Snuffy Snuffalupagus." Bringing in the...
Questioning his own existence, a very interesting thought.
Regardless, I love this skit. It is among my favorite of the funny Muppet moments. The best part of it is it's always coming back for more without losing the charm it originally had, like in the Sandra Bullock episode of "Muppets...
What worries me about the show is they keep saying there is going to be an all new cast of Muppets. This means that there will be 3 different casts: the old cast, the newer cast from MT and a cast that is newer than that. How the heck are they gonna keep all these Muppets organized without...
