An idea from a previous thread was that the Muppets live in the boarding house but go off an do showbiz related jobs. Kermit still works at the Muppet Theater and Clifford records albums at the KMUP studio. I liked that so much I was about to write fanfictrion about a setup like that.
Hey, Canada's got alot of things there that I wish we had over here: Mr. Bean, Ketchup flavored potato chips, Barenaked Ladies on the radio, free healthcare, canada rules!
I can do a few good impressions too like Bobo, The Chef, Robin, and I try Kermit, though I sound like a brooklyn-bronx when I do it....Is there a site up and running or no?
I'd buy a collectible doll, but there's 2 things: first that I don't got a credit card, second that if I got a collectible, I wouldn't be able to use it. I love my Dr. Teeth figure but I felt a little guilty opening the box so I still saved the backboard.
Well considering that Kermit, Gonzo, Statler and Waldorf are in the new show, rather not it be Kermit and some really old backup character turned second stringer...
"IT'S THE KERMIT AND WALDO SHOW!"
What worries me is that if the public conception of Muppets is kiddie fare, than that will cuase the downfall of another show starring the classic Muppets who I love the most. With all the talk over Bear, and all the ever-loved Sesame Street characters, it's too bad Kermit has had a hard time...
West Side Story. I'd cast all the Jets as humans with all the Sharks as Muppets. So, while I couldn't do a regular cast here without citing a bunch of improbable guest stars at the top of my head, the end result would look pretty cool.
I agree. The real Muppet world involves the Muppets recognizing themselves as actors instead of characters. Kermit is on vacation from acting in the movie, Piggy is attempting a new wrinkle to her impressive resume, Fozzie is holding a jokebook and Animal's got his drusticks. Nothing is removed...
I always though the main group of fraggles to be kids. I mean, how could they not be? There's the one who likes exploring, the one who likes playing sports, the one who likes creating art, the one who keeps to himself, and the one who's just off the wall weird. But even though they were kids...
Adding into the assumption that I read too mamy muppet transcript, I read about a recent interview by Al Roker in which Piggy was trying to use the news of Al's recent marriage to hint at Kermit that they should get married
Piggy: Are you happy married, Al?
Al: Um, yeah.
Piggy: Year that...
The curly-haired pig is named Annie Sue, she was mostly a background character who appeared amongst the other pigs. She both had an admiration for Miss Piggy and made attempts to srestle roles away from her. Or at least that's what the character guide on Kermitage said. I think that they built...
I dunno if it's been done, but I'd like to see the B-52s. They could do a version of "Roam if you want to" with Kermit and Piggy representing the united states, Floyd and Janice dressed as canadian mounties, Animal in a sombrero and pomcho, Johnny Fiamma and Sal in 'Rome' Italy, Pepe in a...
My favorite was when he was the scoutmaster and he was trying to tell all the little kids the difference between what was alive and what wasn't; That the rock that they just came across was alive and that his shoe was alive becuase he was able to move it around.
I thought that Dennys would be giving out Muppet Dolls as part of ther promotion. Is there any news on it whether they changed their mind or not, because I really need a stuffed Kermit, even a little one. :(
Ok we've way way crossed the line past a happy and nice post.
On second thought, I take it back, I'm starting to sound like a cross between Sam and Bean. Ecchh....
