My favorite Gonzo plush is still the Fisher Price version that I had in the early 80s. The one I risked being mauled by a sasquatch to fetch from the living room when I was six. Long story.
The person who said this is some idiot trying to be funny by referencing a bit in Family guy. That's where the "Wrong sounding Muppets" thing comes from. Not only is this person an idiot he's also an idiot who's too creatively bankrupt to come up with his own material.
The Hub plays TMTM fairly often and I usually watch it every time it's on. I wish some channel would play the other Muppet Movies. I haven't seen TMM or TGMC since the 90s though I must have seen them both multiple times. I'm not a big DVD buyer. I have very little cash and other things have to...
Antz isn't really all that well known either. I see A Bug's Life played on TV way more than I do Antz.
I'm not sure when Dreamworks started to tone down their animated films. Aside from Shrek I didn't really start to like Dreamworks's stuff until Monsters Vs Aliens. I thought Shrek was great but...
Walter may look a bit like Crash but they have totally different personalities. Walter isn't a destructive type for one thing.
One thing I don't get is how people Crash meets seem to take the fact that he is basically a living puppet in stride. Nobody seems to think this is a big deal. The...
My Fisher Price Scooter plush was my best friend when I was six. I will never forget Scooter.
I really have no interest in pillow pets. I'm more into plastic toys than plush though I do have a few plush toys. But I have to admit I kind of want that Kermit.
I actually saw this for the first time last night. I'm pretty much a recluse. I don't go to theatres and I don't have much money to spend on DVDs. What little free cash I have goes to my toy collection. But last night The Muppets was on TV on a channel we usually don't get. Long story short, I...
Why would Disney want to buy Felix the cat when they have their own stable of classic animated characters to draw from? Characters that are more famous than Felix as well. Although if they don't start doing more with their characters than sticking them in preschool shows then Mickey and the gang...
The Toy Story series are Pixar's most popular films and probably some of the most popular animated films of all time. That's why they show them all the time. As to why Monsters Inc doesn't get enough love, well, I'm not sure why. It certainly deserves more love. It's a lot better than Cars and...
Yeah, at one point my Wal Mart had the Poo-Chis in the same aisle as the preschool section. And quick question, is your username Tamagotchi related?
You sure seem to know your stuff. Though I know it is, it's hard for me to think of Follow That Bird as a preschool movie. I saw it in theatres...
I can't see them removing Elmo entirely. He's too popular for that. Elmo is probably THE most popular children's character out there. He's a huge moneymaker. They may reduce his screentime but I doubt they'll just drop the character.
Oh dear God, no. I hate that they're making toys of these things. Now every time I go to buy Furbys or Ninja Turtles I'm going to have to look at those creepy things in the toy aisles. This is just as bad as when they had Boo Bahs and Poo-Chi robot dogs in the same aisle ten years ago. Every...
Yeah when Jim Henson died we didn't just lose a great man. We also lost out on all the awesomeness that would have been sure to have been created had he lived. The man was a genius and everything he touched was gold.
I've heard of 50 Shades of Grey, but I don't really know what it's about only that it's supposed to be terrible. It's hard to believe anything could be worse than Twilight.
I still say that the vampires in Twilight aren't really vampires. They're sparkling fairies who choose to call themselves vampires in order to look cooler. Someday some real vampires are going to find out about this slander and come in and clean house, slaughtering every single one of those...
I always hated Twilight on general principal but yesterday I got a glimpse of one of the movies for the first time. It was on in the background while I was on the computer. It was worse than I ever thought it could be. It was just so bland. Soulless. It was like the actors were sleepwalking...
I grew up in Greenville Mississippi. Jim Henson is probably the best thing to ever come out of that place. They actually have a Jim Henson museum there, but for some reason it's always closed so I've only been once. I doubt a meet and greet in that town would work.
