Thanks, Phil, but I know what time it's on in my area. I was just a little surprised because I didn't think any stations ran those game shows in the morning.

Is "Hollywood Squares" in the morning where you live? I get it in the evening so I'll probably have to wait for tonight's show to see the part with Kermit talking about the action figures.

By the way, Gonzo, in response to your idea about having all Muppets on the squares. I have been working on a transcript of something like that. I tried to make it so it changes from day to day. (Since the performers probably wouldn't be able to play more than one of their characters...
While we're on this subject...
I've just seen Stuart Pankin on a "Family Matters" episode. He sounds a lot like Earl Sinclair. He probably just deepens his voice to perform the character.

That's okay, Foz. I found out at Toughpigs.com that he first appeared in 1979 and was played by some guy named Brian Muehl. Martin took over in 1984.

Well, I just read at the Toughpigs site that it was Rudman. That makes more sense anyway, because didn't Eric play his mom? It would be hard for him to play both of them at the same time.

By the way does anyone happen to know how old Telly is. (Not his age on the show. I mean, how long has he been around?) I saw him in the pic on the Hooperfan page which was from 1981. So I don't know if that's when he came around or if he's older. I know Martin P. Robinson didn't...
Here's something I was wondering about. I asked this before but I didn't get a response, so I thought I'd ask it in a new thread. Isn't it David Rudman who plays Cookie Monster now instead of Eric Jacobson? That's what it says at imdb.com, so that's why I was wondering.

I think that would be a good idea. After all, the Muppets haven't been on the squares all season (Unless you count that annoying dog Triumph) so that would be a good idea. Especially, since Whoopi's no longer the center square. They could put Kermit in the center. Some other squares...

I've noticed that too. Just typing "Hooperfan" doesn't work. Let me check on something.
Ah. Here it is:

I was hoping somebody would post something about Kermit being on the show. I'm looking forward to watching it. By the way, Whoopi hasn't been on "Hollywood Squares" all this season. She left at the end of last season, so their center square keeps changing from time to time. I think...

Back to the subject of Grover, keep in mind that he will have that Global Grover segment next season, so we'll see more of them. I don't think Oz leaving has much to do with it since he's played by Eric Jacobson now.

I definately remember the one with Barkley. That one was classic! I've also seen the one with the dancing statue of liberty. Everything else was either before I was born or when I stopped watching the show.

Hmmm. I saw the new opening just the other day. I think the opening I'm the most familiar with showed kids playing in the park and the sequence varied from time to time. Sometimes Big Bird would join them. I also remember the 1993 opening that Mike mentioned. I remember that one had...

It would be nice to see that. It would give me an idea of what the show was like back in the 60s and 70s before I was born. You're right, Tommie. The only Sesame Street episode guides I can find here only list the most recent episodes. I thought of buying the Unpaved book online, but...

I've thought of that too. I mean what if Kermit was in love with Janice and Floyd was in love with Miss Piggy? Maybe we should move that to the "What if" thread.
