Phil and the Gluvets on Britain's Got Talent

Hey mate, yeah the clip you've linked there is pretty much the clip that played in the show. Didn't see any of you in the Britain's Got More Talent programme though, maybe in the future perhaps. And cool clip btw! Well done chaps

    DOCTOR WHO with Puppets

This project is not dead. I have collaborated with Dr Puppet of 99 Acre fame to give me a hand with the head pattern of which I hope to produce something soonish!

A work in progress - looking for ideas!

Reminds me alittle of a character from 'Spongebob Square Pants' maybe give him a little insect like body , maybe with a shell or something and spindly arms

    DOCTOR WHO with Puppets

Hey Debs. This project is still on going and at the moment I am working with a fellow WHOPuppet friend to produce the head pattern for the Doctor puppet - which is the main reason this project never got as far as production! :p No problem about commenting on your fantastic videos! You and...

    DOCTOR WHO with Puppets

About time I brought this thread up to date... or at least, to the top of the board again :p I wonder if those who know what they are doing could possibly help me find the best way to construct the right head for the main Doctor puppet. Please see the photoshopped photo in the above posts...

    DOCTOR WHO with Puppets

What a... er... interesting idea, Gordon. That would certainly be different.

    DOCTOR WHO with Puppets

Oh dear! Oh my giddy aunt! Jamie! Zoe! It's the... TARDIS? Don't fill my thread with rubbish! LOL! Only joking - that is one scary looking TARDIS...puppet. And its David by the way, robinthecrow being a very old alias of mine.

    DOCTOR WHO with Puppets

Luke, thanks for the kind wishes! Funnily enough something along those lines you mention was intended at some point. But felt my efforts are better spent on something alittle bit more original than replicating Tennant or Freema (can't say I'd want to puppetise Simm, maybe Jacobi though)...

    DOCTOR WHO with Puppets

Yes! That's it muppetperson! Sorry I never made myself clear in the first post. Yes. 'Crescendo' and 'Muppet Cutaway' are two seperate entities. 'Crescendo' is our big big production. And 'Muppet Cutaway' is a seperate demo film of what we could possibly achieve (or not achieve) in...

    DOCTOR WHO with Puppets

Toasty, thanks for your message. I completely understand where you are coming from and this sort of discussion gets talked about endless times especially about 'Doctor Who' and how far us fans can take it. Luckily there have been very few instances with the BBC on how us fans treat their...

    DOCTOR WHO with Puppets

I had redrafted my original post a few million times and still had trouble explaining how much, or how little the Muppet clips feature. They will be featured surpisingly little and the short teaser will concentrate more on the puppet Doctor(s) and his companion. It's only 5 pages at the...

    DOCTOR WHO with Puppets

Yes, you read that right, I, David Nagel of DAM Productions is going to ATTEMPT to make a film based on the BBC Sci-fi Show DOCTOR WHO but... with puppets. Well... almost. The film will be part of my ongoing series of audio plays and videos of DOCTOR WHO starring myself as the Doctor. We have...

    David Nagel (Puppet Builder)

No, that is true. I completely forgot about that photobucket link. I will be making a dedicated website page of my puppets in the near future, so watch this space for updates.

My latest puppet in the making!

Doesn't Monty's mouth close completely? Brilliant puppet btw!

    David Nagel (Puppet Builder)

Time to resurrect my old thread... well... I haven't been successfully puppet making recently. I started a puppet based on the likeness of new Doctor Who David Tennant for a short film I had planned. I am also in preprepreproduction of a Doctor Who film starring myself and a puppet likeness...

    Avenue Q in Swedish

Is it me or are these Swedish Avenue Q puppets slightly odd looking? For example, Kate Monster and Princeton look alittle more simple compared to their Broadway/London versions (the features being spread across the face) and Rod looks like he has a tiny head! ARGH! Loved the clip though - thanks!

Where do you shop for puppet stuff?

Hail Rassilon Gordon! Thanks for noticing.
