>>>Hmmm doing this has made me slightly more enthusiastic about the line if the fans suggestions are actually taken on board - looks like Jamies done well building up interest for Palisades by creating the thread, Muppet Central should start up a PR company<<<
Luke, this is so weird...my...
>>>Yes, I, queen of the anti-Muppet figure threads, agrees with you, Corey, that the idea of mini-figures would be fab! There is just something about little figures that appeals. And... smaller PVC figures are would be less likely to break (ahem), and cheaper to boot. I say bring them on... even...
>>>I think this is a fantastic idea, and having them themed around specific episodes would work perfectly for the Muppets. It also opens up the possibility of playsets of larger or more extensive areas than you can do in larger scales.
But I think Palisades is smart enough to be paying...
>>>Personally, i think small versions would be more popular than the Mega line if they all come together in a pack or something so people could have mini versions of the larger figures without paying the price for them. I think fans would accept it more becasue they are small. wheras with the...
>>>and, i'm not sure what you mean by exact replicas? replicas of what?<<<
well, i saw the new RiD and armada tf figures, and the packaging and look of the figures looks EXACTLY as they did 2 decades ago.
same cheap plastic look.
hasbro lost the archives of some of tf??? that sounds...
>>>No couldn't be the same pigeons. Apparently the UK has very strict laws about the import/exportation of animals and so you would notbe able to transport the Americn pigeon (bernice) to the UK to film GMC...unless of course it was an unladen pigeon who had been transporting coconuts to the...
>>>i havn't seen the movie yet, just the series...but it's on my list of things i need to get.
wait, so youve seen episodes of armada??? what would you liken the look and feel to?
>>>BTW, i talked to a guy from Rhino while i was waiting for Pat Lee's autograph on Saturday. they were...
>>>I think he's refering to those new episode mini figures. They come six in a pack and look just like the regular figures, only smaller<<<
yes these great figures which are the size I prefer...and no this isnt referring to the lame kubrick wannabes...ick!
hey luke...this wasnt brought up...
>>>oh, and for the record, i'm a Cowboy Bebop fan too...<<<
sweet. have you seen the movie yet(knockin on heaven's door)?
i was a fan of the series, but man when i saw th eimport dvd...oh my! blows the series animation AWAY! btw, when I come to gateway stores for their internet Im usually...
>>>I also have a few of the smaller bendies coming
zoe 3"
baby bear 3"
big bird 4 1/4" approx<<<
Oh, if you could please send me to the ebay auction ya found these on(or wherever ya got them) I'd definately like to see what the 3" look like. Im hoping they are in line with the fisher...
>>>No offense to Muppet fans... it's just that the Transformers cult fan-base is beyond anything sci-fi except for Star Wars and MAYBE Star Trek. Transformers isn't just part of an anime fan's diet: it's for the kids that watched it and the all age-groups that play with the toys and adore the...
Well, first we have the 6" line. Then we have the 12"+ line coming...any chance we could see a mini 3" line? They are starting to do that with the Simpsons, and for a lot of us collectors raised on the late 70's/80's standard sized stuff this would be great!(ie: around that Robot Rabbit size)...
Hmmm, here's a thought...how about a regular Pepe figure first?
I think Im not the only one on here who hopes to see a sculpt of him in Toy Fair NY 2003 coverage online.
>>>In case anyone happened to see me at Botcon, I was wearing the *ONLY* T-Shirt sporting a giant face of Hacker Edward Wong Hau Pepelu Tuvrusky the 4th from Cowboy Bebop<<<
Hey, I thought I was th eonly hardcore otaku on here^_^
>>>The comic book is the most succesful toy-line base comic...
>>>you don't know?
oh my god you don't know...

>>>failure to do so will result in us not revealing where all the Pepe merchandise is hidden<<<
Theres Pepe merchandise? Btw, that ljs *hidden* Pepe site is still up, hehe
Oh yes, and welcome to all the irreverent mayhem that is muppet central!
oh i bet kev will be there! yeah, it might be almost a year away, but so much planning for a lot of us to make it to the east coast for a few days. At any rate, I can think of at least a dozen people on here you can make a good vegas bet they will be there, heh.
>>>OK, it was KERMIT!!!
Just kidding. Sorry, couldn't resist<<<
ok, you seriosuly had me...I guess anything possible these days, heh. Ok, so the guest was just a character that had been killed off? Hmm, from the thread I was expecting someone new, heh
Well, since day one Kermit has been a mainstay on Sesame. And of course Rwolf cameod one time(ol brown ears, who in muppet canon also helped 'co-create the show with kermit) and of course Mahna Mahna from TMS also was on Sesame.
But what other Muppet Show(or Muppet special) cameos have their...
