I got the Project ALF movie DVD with a cool commentary. Wierd thing - Ahmed Zappa (producer of Fraggle Rock movie) has a background part in it and i only found out from the commentary. Got a DVD recorder too so i can archive some tapes and things.
I can't say with any degree of officiality as they haven't announced anything publicly, but there are a few collectors who have been told when speaking to their people in person that the sock nose is the final solution and was as far back as last Summer. I think there was a big thing over the...
I didn't even know we could use animated stuff. lol
I'd really like to see a flash chatroom become part of the forum. Flashchat integrates with Vbulletin nicely so we can see if anyones in the room and its customizable for Muppety graphics (Jamie, lol). If bandwidth is an issue it can be...
Congrats Steve for the huge success of the Muppetcast and all the work you do. Huge respect to you, here's to another year of great episodes - and the highlight for me was Dave Goelz and Gonzo. I think when you got that intro and interview you completely upped your game to a whole new level so...
K, there are lots of software and methods out there for sorting out dead pixels on a laptop screen. You can try googling dead pixel correction and things like that to see whats about. Anyway, there might be hope.
I just download and ran it and it was 100% fine, but obviously you should really have some kind of anti-virus anyway. I'm not sure how to use it, i think you just start it flashing and leave it for a few hours.
Maybe try the damp cloth trick first, it gets the liquid running into the pixels...
Snowth, download and run this -

(its free)
If that doesn't work, try turning off your computer, and apply pressure using a damp cloth to where the dead pixel was. Then turn on and once its booted up take the cloth off. It should come back hopefully.
I'm flabbergasted, but i bet Disney would welcome you into their magic kingdom with open arms for that, lol.
On the MCC thing, yes if you have that view about the performers i can understand. Swamp Years wasn't that bad by any means, i just didn't think it was really anything monumental. I...
With the sock nose it just makes the overall look wrong, it could be the best Gonzo in the world but with that nose it'll just look like a soft toy and it really stands out unless you see photos taken from a distance. I agree other products haven't been perfect in the past but lets remember...
I don't think there would be time now to work on him, i think thats what the solution was and they didn't take much notice of (or spend time acknowledging) the people buying these. I will buy Fozzie (if he happens, fingers crossed!) but pass on Gonzo. I wish Gonzo was a real "replica" and not...
If you look at Phillips review of the game on the main Muppet Central site in the reviews part of the articles section i think he included them there. It's a brilliant game, i think best Muppet game so far.
I only saw a few movies (that i can remember), Simpsons Movie - which i thought was ok but should have been better given the wait, it just seemed like a lot of skits put together rather than a decent plot. I Am Legend, which i thought was again ok, but dragged a bit at the start and didn't live...
.... and i bet he's got more talent in just one leg, or umm wing, than most of those kids on the reality shows. :p
That's what this world needs, variety acts in contact with the spirit world!
So sounds like the best address to use is the Henson one still for everyone who isn't Sesame based. I guess the delay is because they just freelance now. I guess they don't have a system in place yet for all this at Muppet Studios.
That is actually a great idea for a Muppet movie - could even spoof Austin Powers as well in it. James Pond ... except that titles been used before. The idea for "Cheapest Muppet Movie Ever Made" had them all going off to do other jobs so that could have fitted in there too.
Well 2008 should bring The Muppets on Disney's internet channel, possible character books, and possibly a new TV movie or special, plus the Gonzo and hopefully Fozzie Master Replicas, and of course some cool Henson Alternative stuff. It will also be Steve Whitmires 30th anniversary of joining...
