Ok bit belated but i'll have a go -
1. who are your top five favorite/ least favorite figures?
Favorite - Vaca Fozzie, Dr Phil, Checkered Gonzo, Rizzo, Uncle Deadly
Least Favorite - S1 Piggy, S2 Gonzo, Marvin Suggs, Lips, Clifford
2. were any figures better/ worse than you expected...
I think they are gaining momentum, and i think a lot of it is down to the guys at HIT Entertainment. They are such a hot company, it was a genius move to put the Fraggles under them. JHC have always been great at producing things, but haven't always been as strong in the marketing - so its the...
I have to say, they do make nice quality stuff. Some of their items are quite highly detailed so i wouldn't expect the finished product to be too shabby.
I think Henson are saying DC2 will probably be direct to dvd, but they are committed to making it exactly the same as if it was a theater release. That was my take on it anyway.
I can see Fraggle being the same. I think the only way they can hope for a theatrical release is if they can...
OK, so i'm seriously considering gettin me an Animal since people here have shown he can look pretty spoovey, so how much posing and prep does he need before he can look "Animalish", bear in mind i have zero puppet wrangling skills, and does anyone know anywhere in the UK that still has him as...
I know what you mean Jamie. I think they don't make anything at all until they have enough orders, its always photoshopped stuff. Would prefer to see some real pics too.
And Chris, it is really cheap to buy stuff from the states at the moment. You just have to be sure they are gonna have...
Chris, there is a uk site which carries their stuff. We could maybe ask if they could carry it. I'll have to find which one it is.
Edit - this is the company - http://www.bradford.co.uk
I stand corrected on the Chef, he doesn't look that complicated to the innocent bystander, lol. I would have never had Scooter down for an easy one either. Seems to me it'd make a lot of sense to do a Beaker as he's easy to do, popular, and you could pose him in all kinds of hazardous...
I think Chef is a fantastic idea. Not too much of a challenge for them to make and should be easier to mass produce. Beaker is pretty much the same.
Piggy i think could either turn out very well, or very bad. Once they got the face right it'd all be down to how they handled the hair.
I...
There have been some great Piggy posers i agree, i was just thinking she might be a hard sell, and hard for them to get right. Then again, Piggy does have a small but very loyal fanbase of collectors who'd probably like this more than a figure so it might work. I would have thought they need...
I'd like to think there is more chance since they have the prototype but its never a sure bet, really all depends on how the previous three have sold and whether its worth just cutting their losses. I just really hope he makes it, that will be enough for me. I'm not so sure Piggy is the right...
