Steve, i'm so stoked you managed to get Jocelyn, i was hoping you would. I'm so happy about it i'm actually NOT listening to this just yet and saving it as i'm travelling next week and want to listen to it on my journey. So its getting pride of place on my itinery, lol. I'll have to tell ya...
All that response tells me is that they don't say much, and never have really. I'm sure when they're ready we'll see it.
It's times like this you miss Ken, there's no way that guy would have allowed a sock nose, not on his watch. He never did Sweetums until he was sure he could get it made...
I hope they do make the Muppet Moments figures, that sounds like they want to do for figures what McFlarlane did after Playmates Simpsons and do figure type diorama things that made a scene when displayed together. I like that, and it could be hugely succesful for them - way more than any $300...
It's at Disneyland Hong Kong. I don't know whether they made duplicates or its on loan but it sounds like a permanent fixture there.

Yeah eyelids and possibly the teeth, and prob not scott foam either so not as strong even. I have heard these things can be coated to preserve them a bit more but i'm no expert. So basically in ten years minor parts of these replias could potentially begin to degrade anyway (although i'd point...
Terry. Can i ask why they aren't using reticulated foam for this regardless? It seems like there is no other option to get the likeness right with Gonzo. I thought reticulated foam was quite strong, and with proper care could last upto 10 years? (although i guess thats if your very lucky) Is...
Have you got pics of Terry's one? I remember seeing it but don't have them now.
And yes although its an action figure and not a "poser" i believe post S2 Palisades Gonzo to be the best ever Gonzo in terms of likeness. The colors on the nose, the texturing, the expression and feature...
Yea, its not just being negative for negtives sake. I would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE a really accurate Gonzo replica and have no reservations about paying them $300 for one, it's my favourite character. Just that to me (at least right now) isn't Gonzo. I think thats what a lot of people are upset...
No, what heightened the debate on here was because some people were told this mostly WAS how the final product is likely to be. It's not that people are being negative just for the sake of it, it's that it's an absolute crying shame to Muppet fans that an opportunity for a product such as this...
I agree we're lucky they picked up the license, i said we weren't lucky to be seeing protos. They need people to see them as much as people want to see them and i'm not about to give $300 to anyone in blind faith. They certainly aren't doing us a favor in making them, as i don't think they...
Sounds perfect Kev! Just ordered my copy, and i'm really glad you chose a site to sell it through that shipped internationally. I shall be keeping this with my Muley original artwork!
I saw a few other comics on that site that looked worth checking out too.
Just to point out we are not "lucky" that they release proto pictures and they are not doing us any kind of "favor". The whole reason they put out proto pictures is to get the pre-orders in and market the line somewhat. It was the same with Palisades only they delivered in the communication...
It goes for some other lines to a degree, but never really to this extent. By the time you part with money on other things you usually know what you will recieve. I mean the nose is a pretty major design problem thats totally affecting the overall likeness, the jackets completely the wrong...
As BabyGonzo said, my gripe is just, well, its the year of the RAT, and there is the RAT dressing up as a mouse to be with a mouse. If it was the year of the Mouse it would have made sense - i get the jitters when i see a Muppet wearing mouse ears, lol. That aside, i like em!
Wow, i just noticed this. Very ltd edition tho not all that nice looking

I love them, apart from the Mickey one. I hate it when they try to mix Classic Disney characters and Muppets together. Two seperate brands - it should have been a Rizzo pin if it's a rat year!
My fave has to be the leap year one with the hanging date on a chain. That looks cool. Thanks...
