Bear arrives on Disney+ The beloved series has been off the air for the past 15 years. Now all four seasons are finally available for a whole new generation.
I really like the show and think it's a great preschool series, but I agree with the rest of the logic. Disney has done a pretty good job of building the brand back up. They don't need to muck things up with subbrands. It's not quite as strong as Marvel, Star Wars, or Cars. The original...
I cannot believe that D'Snowth wasn't the one to point that out.
I am in shock.
I hate the fact they're making a second one. Rationalization for why: the movie was a so bad it's good film. Now they're going to make the second one intentionally SBIG. Now, there are legitimate purposely...
Disney has been pretty good at reestablishing the Muppets so far.
I don't think Muppet Babies coming back will help that very much. For the longest time, the Adaption Displacement of the easy to access Saturday morning Cartoon vs the only available on home video movies and TV show of the...
Now that I think about it... I don't see why they didn't just make a couple 3 or 4 disk bargain collections out of some of these disks, like they did with a couple prior collections/ some releases of DC Comics and Scooby-Doo media.
No matter how you think about this, a 60 dollar collection...
Logically, that would be a better deal and a greater bargain. But it's very clear this was a budget for WB release, as it's just easier to take extra disks lying around and put them into a new box than to have to take the masters of each individual disk and reprint them with 2 DVD's in one. Or...
Someone on Cartoon Brew actually saw this... I'm posting his review.
He then adds....
Why the heck isn't this the laughing stock of the internet? I don't care if it only opened up in 15 theaters. This needs all the scorn it should get.
Edit... Seeing the trailer again for reference...
Lead Police used to be up on its own for a while. Then whoever posted it closed the account or got banned or something. That was a couple years ago. Glad to see it back (as that and Blood test are the only really good original material).
Is "Wash Your Hands Before Your Eat" up separately? I...
Dreamworks stopped doing Fart Jokes before the Shrek franchise ended.
I have high hopes for this movie because it wasn't made over 10 years ago and doesn't feature a real dog as Mr. Peabody. And something tells me, had Rocky and Bullwinkle been moderately successful, that could have happened...
On that note, I hate how the Biblical term is considered an offensive cuss word.
To me, having to use Heck unironically (I.e. Earthworm Jim and Dilbert) is far more offensive. That other word is only a real cuss word if used as such. You know, as in "What the Heck is going on?" or "Who the...
Shouldn't be... but I don't see parents latching onto a 60 dollar collection of Sesame Street DVD's the way a collector would. I really think the biggest offense is this is going to cause confusion with Old School Sesame fans that aren't members of this board seeing "Best of Sesame Street,"...
....And my already low opinion of this sinks lower. Really?! The crappy "Kid's Favorite Public Domain Songs We Don't Have To Pay For" Disk?
Worst Best of Ever.
Please tell me this one is fake
Yeah... could but doesn't.
This one I have to link too... has to be seen to be believed Bootlegged Mexican Sesame Street figures.
uh... yeah.. that's smart alright.
KYEEEAAAAAHHHH!!!! It's Wubzychu!
I saw the preview for HTTYD, though. That comes out later.
I don't see how not releasing a trailer yet is cautious so much as stupid, and wanting the project to fail.
I've no idea.
I like Mr. Peabody's redesign, and how non-intrustive it is. I'm just disappointed it;s taking so darn long for a trailer. That's not a good sign.
Jeez... that was like a 15 minute the last 30 seconds of an Inspector Gadget cartoon with all the delicacy and subtlety. The songs are actually quite good... but the set up is... strange. A Lead protest?! I especially like how everyone's in complete awe that Rosita has a nice and shiny...
Deleting posts and threads (as well as banning) is a nuclear option. I'm sure the MODs don't get enjoyment from deleting those things. There are those who, no matter how many polite warnings that turn into more stern ones they receive, continue to revert to their old behavior. Again, this was...
To lazy to look for the other thread to post this...
IDW's November Solicitations show the new Peabody and Sherman comic book series
You have to scroll down a little ways, but there it is. Funny thing. One cover uses the classic character designs, the other something more movie related.
So I was right about that. The flagship theme park chose Sleeping Beauty over the other two princess films.
And that's the explanation for the Fractured Fairy Tale "Sleeping Beautyland" segment.
And there was a Japanese restaurant chain that almost went under until they mentioned it obsessively in my favorite manga. Not the anime, of course... but they gave the authors golden bowls and a lifetime of free meals for having Kinnikuman mention it a bunch of times...
They even kept using...
