Bear arrives on Disney+ The beloved series has been off the air for the past 15 years. Now all four seasons are finally available for a whole new generation.
I see they repurposed the Murray Has a Little Lamb segments into show bumpers now.
Great seeing a Stinky the Stinkweed story again. They're really pushing this whole calming down thing. That's 3 episodes in a row about it. Loved Stinky's Lemongrab-esque shouting. Also liked his flower...
Again, that was the point.
I really wish they kept a longer cut of the movie. We lost the very important sequence with Kermit and Piggy's blow up, and that would have given the film some perspective.
Believing in a dream is one thing, maintaining it is another. Kermit lost his confidence...
Considering the Angry Beavers Box Set is actually cheaper than getting a single release, I'm inclined to want that one.
Dunno how much Rocko's going to cost, though.
I don't mind full series sets so long as they release season by season sets co-currently. I don't like this whole bit about...
You can't teach a lesson without making a character go out of character once or twice.
Plus, Sesame Street has a long line of sketches where people get pushed around and knocked over for laughs. This is the first time ever I've seen them do it straightforward (sorta) and say it's the wrong...
I don't think anyone under the age of 30, or that isn't a huge 80's pop culture buff is going to get that Safety Dance reference. But lemme tell you, that made me very happy.
Not as much fun as Weird Al's parody, though.
Very strong opening story, pretty funny bits throughout, and once...
It's not so much the Sparkly vampires as much as the squeaky rodents and like an entire summer's worth of movies in a week.
Really... 2011 was a clustercrap of too many blockbuster films in a single 3 week period.
Might as well give a proper review.
These Telly and Baby bear episodes are always a favorite of mine. Somehow, I thought Ralphie was a little less developed since the last time he was seen on the show. And with a completely different Muppeteer to boot. That means, Sesame Street somehow...
To help you out...
2) was about 2 hovering robots building snowmen. One of them named Blip or Bleep or something made a small, pathetic looking one, while another (who's name I'm not sure they mentioned) builds a huge, perfect snowman that makes Blip feel jealous. That is, until he uses the...
I wouldn't doubt there would be political things behind a delay. As I've said often, Disney hates DVD box sets. They love movies, and shove even the very popular Phineas and Ferb episodes into movie length and sell them that way. But a multi-disk set of a cartoon, either created under Disney...
Eyes Wide Shut is a pretty dang adult movie with very adult themes.
Elmo and Count aren't going anywhere. Elmo especially. They recast him as fast as possible, and he's going to hold the same clout he always has. Nothing different at all. The Count... well, I'd tend to think his...
But then there are huge surprises.
I think Igor is one of the best third party CGI kid's films I've ever seen. Of course, I'm a sucker for morbid humor, and Steve Buschemi pulled off the indestructible and suicidal rabbit perfectly... and we even got a great performance from Jay Leno that...
It's a mixed bag. It's great to see things when they first pop up on the internet (and if you can't watch regularly), but it ruins the surprise of actually watching it if you can. I had to resist every urge to watch that James Bond parody segment so I can still enjoy it when it hits the show...
Maybe I read/watch too much Ultimate Muscle/Kinnikuman... but what the freaking heck ever happened to respecting the opponent/rival team as sportsmen?
Oh... and what's worse than sore losers? People who freaking throw riots when their teams win.
I've said it before, I'll say it again. Even...
Some weird misconception or something commonly mixes Fairy Tales with Nursery Rhymes. The fact that Fairy Tale characters attend Mother Goose's Nursery School in the show goes to prove that. Not to mention Shrek and Puss in Boots. Heck, nearly everyone in Puss in Boots (besides Puss himself)...
The second issue's in this solicitation
I can't wait to see the Bullwinkle series they plan on doing. Hopefully these Peabody and Sherman comics do well. Most of the R&B comics have been great, from Gold Key to Marvel. Except that crappy Dudley Do-Right comic that just retold episodes of...
For me, the artwork is nice, but pretty stiff. Langridge's original cover, while used before, shows the perfectly insane wackiness that the comic is all about.
Too bad they couldn't commission a new piece from Langridge. Or for that matter, Amy, Shelli, or James.
On the subject of bad fanbases...
I'd rather be forced to live the rest of my life on a commune with ultra hard core Bronies than see so much as one crazy sports fan ever again. Sports nuts are the worst fanbase of anything ever, and yet they're treated like the sane people who like a sane...
