Now what's going on with YouTube?

I actually don't mind getting other member's likes. The commented on bit, I don't get, but I don't mind specifically. Mainly because those I subscribe to rarely upload anything, but there's a similar taste in videos that I somehow share with others, not to mention how I discover more videos...

    Hate Jessie

Lizzie was alright. Certainly better than the formulaic Lafftrakk kiddy coms they've had since. I don't see why they don't go back to the filmed program sitcom, like almost every sitcom on television now. It all resembles failed 1980's TGIF sitcoms. Weak concepts, bland characters, "gag...

    Member Stalking

The one thing I never understood about that skit... the "woman" behind the counter opens clearly saying 2 Spam free options that the "woman" customer some how never picks up on. You have to watch the skit multiple times to realize it.

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 44

He was talking about The Electric Company. A little more appropriate since it's also a SW production. Seems like they barely even keep that show around anymore, just taking existing episodes and repurposing them with animated segments that are only relevant to some lame PBS internet game...

    The Anti-Rant Thread

I usually complain about commercials because we're in some golden age of quirky and ad execs barely get quirky. Especially PSA's that take forever to get to the point, which I won't go into because this is a rant free thread, and this is just to further a point. But darned if I don't think...

    Hate Jessie

Exactly what I'm talking about. It's all inorganic and even more prefabricated than a cartoon series based on a toy line. And the shows based on toylines are usually enjoyable, at least. I never really cared much for family sitcoms (with certain exceptions) because all they do is harp on...

    Hate Jessie

Miley Cyrus is what happens when you have contractual purity being a kid's star. Anyone ever see the South Park where the Jonahs Bros. were just a scam by Disney, and how they used them to sell sex to little girls, but could only get away with it by making the band wear purity rings...

Weekly Box Office and Film Discussion Thread

I'd agree if the reason wasn't one of the director's getting kicked off his own project. That's shades of Brave. Films with behind the scenes drama rarely turn out good. If the movie were being delayed to make it a more quality picture, I'd be all the more happy about a year blackout. I'm...

Weekly Box Office and Film Discussion Thread

There's no reason why it shouldn't be theatrical. It doesn't seem like whatever they could do with it would be too high of a budget that it would lose that much money anyway. If they were just doing a direct to Netflix type thing, they might as well just make it a couple hour long episodes or...

Little Discoverers - More STEM from Sesame Street

I'm sure it was either a mistake by one of the mods or some odd glitch in the forum's code.

Weekly Box Office and Film Discussion Thread

Three things... First off, I finally got the chance to see The World's End this weekend, and I have to briefly state that if I had three favorite movies this year, they'd be Iron Man 3, Despicable Me 2, and The World's End. Secondly- Looks like they're actually going to try for the Arrested...

Possible Muppety Addition to Disney Infinity...

UGH! Don't get me started on that. I hate that's what "serious gamers" like and only that. As for DI... if I had a system that it's intended for, I'd buy it Muppets or NO Muppets. I really like the concept of collectible figures for video games. But then again, the collectors figures are...

    TV Tropes

Still, this seems like an anal retentive move that takes all the fun out of a fun site. If trolls and stupid kids are the problem, stop punishing everyone else and deal with them specifically. I don't see how killing off trope namers is going to have any effect on either of those. I'm sure...

    Another Threadless Sesame Street Competition!

Sad thing is, I can totally see the first one as an actual shirt at retail. The obvious stock photos taken through some filter that makes them look painterly... I gotta admit, they do look kind of cool, and better than the stock photography we get on commercial t-shirts. Still don't deserve to...

    TV Tropes

Hopefully, they'll come to their senses and name everything back, or at least keep the unchangeable examples. I guess too many idiots are trying to come up with extremely specific things that only apply to a couple shows, and the mods are overreacting to that.

    When you need to rant...

I heard February 2015. Anyway, I don't see why it took them almost 12 years for a sequel when Rugrats had 3 in 5. But then again, they aren't even thinking of a second Simpsons movie beyond the "we sure would like to do one at some point" level, and that's been around for 25 years.

Now what's going on with YouTube?

Personally, I HATE that I had to remove "Topic Popular" from my feed every other day, when you'd think I could just remove it once and be done with it. And the recommendations are complete bull, giving me related videos in videos I watch that aren't remotely related to anything. I got some...
