Lol. I was worried I was the only one. Yeah, my tape only got about a half hour of the show on, so I missed a lot of it. I didn't see the roller blading. What else did I miss?
I'm watching it on tape just now. It was definately Steve performing Statler. To be honest, I was a little surprised to see them. I thought it would just be Kermit. Also, he mentioned that Animal would probably be on the show Wednesday. I hope it's Eric Jacobson performing him there. John...
That does sound interesting. Who do you contact in order to purchase anything from that collection? I would like to see a few of the TMS videos that aren't available from Timelife and some eps of "Muppets Tonight!" Any information on this would be appreciated.
O.K., I see. I got an e-mail about billing information a week okay, so that's why I was wondering. I was worried I might get arrested for listening to the system when I couldn't afford it. Lol. But I guess I'm alright. Thanks, Phil.
I think it would also be appropriate to wish a Happy Birthday to the late Jim Henson, since Jim and Steve have the same birthday.
Happy birthday to both of you!
(Please post, I think that's been 120 seconds by now.)
I haven't had a chance to post on this board, but I feel I should since I've watched a lot of John Ritter on TV. (I never knew Johnny Cash though unfortunatley) I used to watch "Three's Company" in the morning when it was on a local TV station. Also, he made a lot of appearances on "Hollywood...
Well, the good news is I got the Internet connection up in my dorm room so I can listen to MC Radio. The bad news is that it runs super-slowly. By the way, I no longer carry a credit card, but I'd like to keep listening, so I thought I'd send a money order. Can somebody tell me how to do that...
I don't know about that, but the skaters were from "Holiday on Ice." You could possibly look them up on the web and find out places where they perform that might help.
1. Watch people clean the building
2. Make coffee, so you'll be more awake in the morning
3. Realize you don't drink...
Actually, that sounded like a "Muppets Tonight" episode, but it was really good. I especially liked the Smokey Bear reference.
Administrators, let me post my message! I am really, really stressed out today and am in no mood to wait 120 seconds! Let's have a little cooperation here.
Yeah, I remember that one very well. That was funny. After that, Cookie Monster was afraid when Ernie offered him cookies, but that only lasted about a few seconds then he was back to his old self.
I agree with what you said there. I was fairly young when Jim died too, but I remember him very well. In fact, I've seen him as himself (rather than as Kermit, Ernie, etc.) on several occasions. It was tragic to lose him. As for John Denver. Well, I didn't know him very well at the time. I...
Oh, I remember that very well. Only it wasn't a cartoon. It was a live action film. There was this song:
Takes a lot of little nuts to do the job.
I don't remember the whole song, but I think it's at the "Sesame Street Lyrics Archive." It's also played on MC radio. Hope this info helps.
Hmmm. I thought Kermit and the talking balls sketch was made earlier than that. Come to think of it, Steve didn't perform Kermit on Sesame Street until he appeared in that news flash when Slimey went to the moon. So it had to have been Jim's Kermit before 1990. Maybe, it wasn't Dave...
Well, if Dave performed that character, I'm pretty certian he performed the talking ball as well. No offense, to whoever wrote that "Elmo in Grouchland" was Dave's only performance on "Sesame Street." But I guess we proved that was incorrect.
