Explaining the Muppets aren't just for kids

Just tell the truth. Say that Muppets were meant for people of all ages. (Well, with the exception of "Sesame Street.") Maybe, show her these forums and she'll find people of all ages there. Just a few suggestions.

I don't like Clifford, do you?

Actually, since I don't remember JHH too well, I'd have to say that I liked "Muppets Tonight!" Clifford. He was an okay host, but I agree that Kermit would have been much better. I actually prefer him without sunglasses for some reason.

The Muppet Show back on Danish TV!

Yeah, I've been reading them for the past few days. Thanks for that info.

My Kermit picture from Steve Whitmire

I might try that some time. After all, I got an autographed pic of Melissa Joan Hart a few years ago. Maybe I should try for some Muppateer autographs as well.

Who played Cookie in "Fuzzy & Blue"?

That is food for thought. I think they might have additional muppateers for when two Muppets with the same performer are shown at the same time. Or it could have been Richard performing Cookie or Frazzle. You may be right. I guess only the show's writers know for sure.

    Re-running TMS

Yeah, thanks. Unfortuanately, as I mentioned before my credit isn't very good, so I won't be able to afford them now. Maybe, when I graduate and get a job, I'll be able to afford those tapes. Thanks again for the info.

    Re-running TMS

I have no clue, but I think it would be a good idea to write to some cable networks that could probably afford access to TMS. (Ex: Nickolodeon, ABC Family, Disney) I agree with you. 42 eps just isn't enough. (I say 42 instead of 45, because Timelife gyped me out of vol. 6 and I can't...

Sesame Street Unpaved: There's a Hole in the Bucket

I remember "Hole in the Bucket" very well. Unfortunately, I don't have MC radio anymore. So I'm deprived of that one.

    Maria's Pregnancy episodes

Thanks, Count. I remember that ep very well and I don't think I ever saw the ending. That's been bugging me for years. Lol. (A little comment here: Maria should be thankful that she is able to see Snuffy now, since he helped satisfy her food craving.) Also, I don't think this was...

The Return of the Muppet Show Outlines--Special Guest, James Taylor

That was great! I really liked those "Sesame Street" and Fraggle crossovers. Also, it was good to see adult Skeeter again.

    Ol' Brown Ears' early days

Yeah, I agree. If Rowlf would appear in more Henson productions with Bill performing the voice, we could all adjust to that.

    Sesame Street Character Test

That would make me :p . Kee hee hee!

    Any more Time-Life DVDs?

Well, that's sort of the problem. I've been having all these problems with my credit and ordering things from telemarketing companies lately, it's sort of a mess. Unfortunately, Timelife was one of the companies that was giving me problems, so it's better that I didn't deal with them anymore...

    Any more Time-Life DVDs?

Yeah, probably. It seems like you can't trust people like that these days. Well, I guess I'll just have to look for it in stores when it comes out.

    Any more Time-Life DVDs?

Wait a minute. You mean that's the reason I haven't yet received it because it hasn't come out yet? (Keep in mind, I don't have a DVD player, so I'm talking about the video) You're saying I should probably get that ep in December? (Please say yes. I've read the descriptions for the eps on...

    Any more Time-Life DVDs?

Yep. Steve Martin, Carol Burnett and Gilda Radner.

    Sesame Street Encyclopedia Update

Thanks, Boober. Now I no longer have to lose sleep over that. Lol.

    Any more Time-Life DVDs?

I'd like to try that, but lately I've had problems with my credit and now I can't buy anything online anymore. It sort of ticks me off that Timelife never sent me Volume 6 of TMS. I have all of the other 14.

    Muppet Babies: The Movie

I really like your story. I have to admit that I don't think I've ever seen the later MB episodes with Waldorf and Statler as their uncles. It's kind of weird seeing them as parental-type characters rather than hecklers. I like that you've incorporated other Muppets that weren't on the show...

    "Bloody" in Treasure Island!

Yep. "How does she bloody do that?" was on ABCs version. I was trying to think whether they kept that word in or not? I think they did change when he said "bloody treasure," to just "Where's the treasure?" I'm not sure though. I'll have to watch my tape of that when I have time. I also...
