Apparently The script was posted for it
On the positive side, we get a lot of classic characters in the mix, especially Scooter. On the negative side... well... I can totally see why MWOz had that tie in to American Idol. The requirement was to constantly mention Fox's programming of the day...
Too bad Disney didn't track down a copy... some of those alternate takes would have been something if they used them as bonus features on the Blu-Ray.
Makes you wonder what other films they cut down to 18 minutes. Still, I think they could have cut out some of the scenes they used and put some...
I want to agree about Williams, but all I can think of are the terrible 2000 era family movies he got roped in to. Plus the first episode got pretty good ratings. If they can be kept up, there's little reason to end the show quickly. I too think it's not going to last a long time, but it's...
It's not a bad scene, certainly not as bad as the poorly dubbed Kung Fu movie joke in VMX, but something tells me they could have just cut that sequence and used that time for something else, while saying they kidnapped Jack.
I feel sorry for anyone who bought the Super 8 and didn't actually see the movie before hand. Then again, I just want to know how many people actually bought Super 8 home movie versions of big movies. Something tells me, I feel sorry for like 2 people.
Even the Viewmaster reels kept the plot...
Anyone remember this filmed segment. It all the sudden came into my mind a few days ago. Some kids doing some lame 1970's interpretive dance thing where they were dancing around shouting "AH OH AH OH AH OH AH AH AH AH AH!" or something to that extent.
The teacher then comments about how he...
Backpedaling? Never said they were.
Again, we get into the quality = matter of taste thing that drives me nuts. There is such a nostalgia filter there that makes everyone forget how completely goofy and unrealistic most classic sitcoms were. Not to mention the fact that for every Andy...
I'd say that New Girl was more of a knockoff of ABC's (superior) Happy Endings to the point where it almost had the same cast member. Not kidding. Damon Wayans Jr. was in the pilot for New Girl because Happy Endings was close to getting cancelled the first time. The humor is almost exactly...
That terrible show about Baseball seems like it should have been a movie. I don't think there's enough justification of a full season of watching a bunch of Ralph Wiggum expies making obvious jokes so some woman can get the approval of the stereotypical "Well Done Son Guy" type dad... in this...
That's the problem with these shows that are initially popular. They just don't know what to do with the show. Happened badly to Heroes and Desperate Housewives too. Some shows need that small start gestation period of a weak first season that gets stronger. Shows that are initially popular...
Lemme tell yah... this is pretty much the analogy I was looking for to describe watching Letters to Santa.
The film makes little sense at all, especially with the entire Doc Hopper plot completely gone. I especially like the whole Electric Mayhem scene being them introducing the band and...
And he's not doing S.H.I.E.L.D. :sigh: Must've paid him a crapload more money to be on that instead. Eh, we always have Agent Coulson. Freakin' love that guy.
What's Samuel L Jackson doing? It sure as heck isn't S.H.I.E.L.D.
Not like James Caan is doing anything these days. Robin Williams really doesn't do good movies anymore.
Total agreement. That show is terrible, and it only survives through a Friday Night death slot that would kill any other show in said slot. I only hope it remains a successful lead in for the sake of The Neighbors. If it wasn't for that horrid Bad News Bears wanna be sitcom, it would have a...
You think that's bad... Anpanman videos get craploads of "this is for kids" hate.
Nothing says maturity quite like giving a show you're too old to watch the business for the fact that you're too old...
Yeah. he tried to get the rights to it or something? Maybe it went Star Trek, Flash Gordon, and ultimately Star Wars. They have a comic book release of the original version of the movie... I'm staying the shell away from it.
On that note... GAH! I can't believe they're making another Dumb...
Much as I liked Shrek, I also have to say their moral of ugly people are worth something too, as told by the attractive voice cast, kinda fell flat.
I have to admit, I always hated Saved by the Bell and TNBC's line up. As sucktacular as NBC's final animated line up was, they're still better...
