The Muppets weren't the only ones to be completely edited down to incomprehensible for Super 8....
It isn't quite as terrible plotwise, but the editing is atrocious! It comes off like a Youtube Poop at points.
It happens every time PBS gets s new show. They screw up the schedule, and put on the new show as many times a day as possible. Peg + Cat looks adorable, but I really doubt it needs 2 full hour blocks on 2 different channels. Personally, I just want them to banish Cailou to the corn fields...
I actually quite like Gaston and his lackey. The main 3 of the humans that were turned into things were pretty good too. Just not Timon and Pumbaa good. Or the Genie. Or the entire cast of Emperor's New Groove.
Seriously... I would crash through a wall to see ENG playing at someone's house...
Part of me wants to see a new Muppet Show, but for the most part, I want to see the Muppets on television in a different venue. This was different from the Muppet Show, sure... but it's an even weaker version of the earliest portion of Muppets Tonight. Honestly, I think Bay of Pigs Watch is...
More like a mix of every negative quality from negative characters from everything I ever liked ever.
Comes with having Darkwing Duck and Inspector Gadget as your childhood heroes.
That and the whole "I have absolutely nothing to do on that day" thing.
CVS also had them, but just the main 3. New Box designs too.
Then again, I go to Target more frequently than a grocery store that actually has those cereals (the one I go to doesn't).
Anyway, other than that and the Simpsons Halloween episode, there's really nothing for me. Halloween...
We all have to remember how pop culture heavy our humor was back in the last decade. It seems to fit in with the whole Family Guy/Robot Chicken/Scary Movie/Will and Grace type rapid fire pop culture gags we all got sick of by 2006. It would have worked then, but not very well. VMX did a...
I've already gone through Yummy Mummy and Frute Brute. I think I liked the Mummy better, but I'll get both again. Unfortunately, I only found them at Target, but their assortment has classic box art reproductions.
It's still there, it just lost one more showing. They're planning a few more seasons beyond American Broadcast season 17 (or as I call it, the part of season 16 the rest of the world already got). Just strange that they're throwing their own show under the bus for the one new show on PBS.
Well, my local PBS station dropped a showing of Arthur during the weekdays. Not a good sign considering my local PBS station is the Production Company behind the show.
Clearly to get in the new series, Peg and Cat. And when PBS gets a new series, they put so many showings on a day, it's...
Oh, he's there, and so isn't his billboard. But his plot has been removed from the movie. Shooting down Gonzo's balloons after getting hit with a pie is as far as his story goes, successfully removing any dramatic tension in the film.
Even when they're stranded in the desert, the tension is...
Okay... Live action Maleficient, Live action Cinderella...
Now Cruella De Vil is getting her own movie which should hopefully be better than the last 2 live action abominations.
Personally, I wish Disney would make a film about my favorite Disney Villainess, Yzma. Too bad Disney HATES to...
I've always said every character but the father is a jerk in this film. the funny thing is, they changed the original story where the father essentially throws Beauty under the bus, forcing the daughter to be the prisoner, not him.
At least, that's in one version... forget which one, though.
How's THAT for a contrary post?
Anyway, you know you love some show that no one actually knows/cares/has heard about. Something that either flew under the radar or got canned quickly that you love that becomes awkward to bring up in conversation. I'll start...
Toonsylvania- Brilliant show...
