I probably just tune that out as I barely notice it... but I always say, why transitions when a simple cut will do? I mean, it's not like this is a Filmation series (other than Fat Albert, they all seem to have one). Nor is it as interesting as the Autobot to Decepticon symbol flip, which at...
The street story was made all the better with Big Bird's cameo.
I never actually saw "Don't eat the Paintings," so I don't know if there are any parallels here... but seeing Cookie Monster go all cannibal-esque on a picture of himself was a new wrinkle. No wonder why they've decided to make...
Trust me. You'd lose all sympathy with it if you saw the final project. Even with good animation, this film would have sucked. It seems very much the lame fifth party type of CGI movie that wants desperately to be Shrek. Potential for a good story? maybe... but it suffers a terrible script.
I've no doubt about the talents of those who worked on the last several Muppet projects, but something tells me if Jim wrote the script we'd get essentially the same pop cultury bits, just way better done.
As long as it's not as lame as Bay of Pigs Watch. There's no reason for that to have...
That was such a disappointment and a lost opportunity. Considering the last photo op he had, he didn't appear in the episode, I'm not surprised if it's the case too.
Though, it is an anniversary milestone season (which has to be by fives for some reason), and some Easter Eggs like the last...
In your defense, that was hardly that old a thread, and was still on "sticky," so it was still completely visible on the first page of the Sesame Street section. Threads aren't closed easily anymore, and the only update we've got was that it wasn't going to happen.
I'd like to also add that I have not experienced any problems (mainly because I don't go to those parts of the forum) with the members mentioned. Other than the Faz memorial thread, anyway. I've no problem with anyone mentioned in the thread title.
I do, however, with the Birthday Emotions...
Actually, yesterday something impossible happened to me. I was ...get this... able to actually load a video and have it completely play through to the end.
Unfortunately, the thing I was watching was in 2 parts, and the second part behaved like it normally does.
But for one brief, shining...
I honestly don't why it's hard to get that point across. On any other forum, even the nicer ones, they would be banned as nuisances on their first offense. Or at least bullied off terribly by other members.
There are plenty of sandbox threads here and there, and that's where that stuff goes...
No doubt about it. The script was weak. They had some alright ideas, but poor execution. I don't see why they went with non-Muppet people for a TV show (no one point out the obviousness of The Muppets being written by someone else). It does seem like the first draft if anything. A little...
Why can't we just ban that Joker again? I'm like this close to posting a thread called "Birthday Emotions Sucks Butt" just to troll him into leaving.
And that's a mean thing to do.
I swear...
I can NO LONGER take Google forcing me to go through Google Plus (which NO BODY in the freaking world uses) and change my channel name while I'm watching a friggin video!
Makes sense now... you must delete them before I get a chance to look at them.
Still, I haven't seen dcelano shove Birthday Emotions down our throats for a while. Does he still obsess over that?
What's the deal with this?
How come there are those who are complaining and whining about how many Super Hero movies we got this year, but NO ONE mentions the fact we've had a crap load of racing films too. I mean, Rush, Turbo, Planes... I don't know if you'd count the latest Fast and Furious...
Funny thing is, when it comes to cartoons and movies, outside media is usually considered merchandise first. Even with comic books and novelizations. Some of them are quite good, however, because they're seen as outside media/expanded universe. All the comics based on cartoons I've read...
A) I rarely go to the Friends and Family section.
B) Collgoff at least learned his lesson about posting about the Fraggle Rock Movie that's never going to happen quite some time back, after I tried telling him for the hundredth time. I remember that well. I was called a "bully" by a bunch of...
Eisner did some good things, and some very not so good things, especially at the end of his career with Disney. he helped them greenlight the 2 TV "special" pilots, but never picked them up.
Even before Henson's death and the rise of the Tickle Me stuff, Eisner realized that he could make a...
Was it even ballet? They were just running around and jumping and shouting "AH AH AH WAH HAH!"
Somehow, I would too if dancing meant... well... that.
EDIT: Here's the video in question...
In context, now I get it. It's the Alvin Aley school of dance, so I totally get what kind of...
Personally, I'm more annoyed (almost offended) by the fact that NBC was struggling in the 80's and even then wouldn't give JHH the time of day considering some of the turds they greenlit. They gave them that movie and that hacked up for commercials TV special. I mean, seriously... I'm...
