Lol, yeah when I was younger I used to have the different ornaments talk to each other and have little adventures (sometimes with my Sesame Street toys lol). I can only imagine what S&W would contribute to such a community, lol.
Yeah the Muppetcast stuff sounds cool. Slightly bummed I can't...
Oh yeah and there's nothing wrong with that. It's that it seems like in entertainment in general, there's a movement to be "modern" first, than worry about the writing. When it reality I think people still just want a good story. That never gets old. ;)
I often have to explain my interest in...
I don't think it's so much that they lie, but that they're so far removed from that initial after college experience, they don't remember or give an entirely realistic impression. Or they don't understand times are different. Just to give the benefit of the doubt. ;)
I know, I do hope it's them (no offence intended to other peformers!). Richard's voice on my Christmas tree would definitely make the season bright. ;)
You guys might have read this already but looks like they'll be a Statler and Waldorf ornament out in October! And it talks!
::trying to think of a S&W punchline here but it's not coming...help me out! lol::
As a former Comm major, I agree it was not as easy as it sounds, lol, but definitely worthwhile. There's the potential to influence so much.
And good for you joing a sorority that did good things!
I definitely don't give him a hard time, it takes guts to leave a comfort, successful job like the Muppets and try new things. It's an inspiration to better yourself. And I've enjoyed several of his films.
His characters have always been so sharp and dead on in their humor and charm. His...
Exactly! Hehe, I know it's a drag now but it's good to think of school and work first. The benefits will eventually follow.
I've definitely decided; if I do get this expensive box set, I'll try to donate my other season sets to the library. That way someone else could get to see them who...
Oops, looks like I waited too long to edit! Anyway...
I listened to the podcast of the 1991 Disney show again, hehe. I love how Janice really takes charge of the show and is all annoyed when Miss Piggy is late in arriving: "It's about time!"
Lol, you don't see her interact with the rest of the...
I definitely agree but I'm not as concerned as I could be. Just because I recall it being the same when I was a child. You have the large group of kids who adore the popular without substance. Then you have the rest of the kids who are picked on for following their own drummer. It's nothing new...

Definitely agree with everything you said. I didn't start out with the best job either, I had to work awhile and gain experience.
But it's true that college does not guarantee a job. It can make it easier, relative to people who did not go to college. But again, it's not a guarantee. In...
I don't know, Kermit dancing with Ashley wasn't quite in the same Muppet spirit. The Muppets used to lampoon pop culture. Now they just embrace it and it's not as funny or as good a message.
