There is one I keep bringing up that sounds so much so like a group of old people at a diner talking about a suicide pact... it even opens with one of them saying "[amount of money] That should do it. Just to settle the bills..."
And they place it with this AARP commercial with a woman the...
Sony has lost the rights to Spidey as a cartoon series. Presumably that was part of the deal for their ability to keep the rights to the film. The new Marvel cartoons, Ultimate Spider-Man included, are all Disney made. I don't know if any characters are "Bat-Embargoed" here. Spidey was not...
I'd honestly hate to think that Around the Corner has turned into a massive bunch of shuttered stores that no one has bought (or leased) the storefronts of. Or worse... a ha;f building that was supposed to be condos until the company went bankrupt. Man, I HATE that. There's this one area that...
UGH! One of those horrible Peter Pan ersatz Sesame Street covers... this one seems to be a cover of the original song, rather than the Sesame Street version.
Sounds like the original slowed down. Check out the creepy Urrr-Knee on the cover.
ATC feels like a Sesame Street spinoff, or some bizarre parallel version of an American version of an international version of the original show. I actually quite liked it and some of the characters they had back then had potential. Then everything was unceremoniously dropped. Humphrey...
The more I think of it (and I still think this is just standard crappy movie posters), I just don't understand why Disney wants to cheap out so badly on these things that we can't have full photo shoots full of poses, especially new ones with every project.
If anything, I think there should be potential to subtly tie the show in with the films that Disney doesn't have the rights to. I'd absolutely love it if somehow they managed to get Coulson to mention the other team he usually works with. You know, the Ultimate Spider-Man team (Clark Gregg also...
My COSI station doesn't play any of that. MeTV does... but that's beside the point. I get Lone Ranger, some stupid movies in the middle of the day, that *&^%$ infomercial for itself, Charlie's Angels, Magnum P.I., and both 6 Million Dollar man and Bionic Woman... I think. And of course, to...
I was gonna suggest to those who are curious about the film but don't want to support whatever Card's stake is in this picture. Bootlegs and Torrents. Normally, I'd almost bow to the whole "you wouldn't steal a car" schtick, but paying for movies is supporting them. I've almost considered buying...
Given their track record, I'm sure if they did, there would be like 2 sub-par Count sketches, a bunch of number related shorts, and at least 4 celebrity bits that take precedent over the character the DVD is devoted to anyway.
Free Birds looks like it plays right into the lame 2nd Grade history myths of Thanksgiving. Especially since it's been revealed the first Thanksgiving didn't even feature turkey. And somehow, it seems to be stealing the plotline of an Underdog cartoon ("Simon Says No More Thanksgiving" where...
Well, the Simpsons tribute to Marcia was a very small but poignant scene...

That picture's gonna haunt me all day. Very powerful use of the most iconic of Simpsons imagery.
As for the...
She is there sometimes. A couple seasons ago she became the Super of the 123 Sesame Street apartment building. I don't see why they haven't followed up that concept in future episodes. It really seems that most of the adults we remember have moved on, appearing in an episode or two a season...
There's a difference between "not exactly stable" and wanting to overthrow the government. There are writers that have political/religious quirks. Spider-Man's co-creator has an obsessive crush on Ayn Rand, Lovecraft was a racist... but what really gets lost in translation is that OSC is a...
This is what I really hate about television. These cable companies swooping in, stealing the rights for television shows out from under local syndication, forcing them to run absolute dreck like TMZ and some exact ripoff of TMZ 4 times a day (yeah. I have that... ticks me the heck of) and the...
To take it all in...
Ender's Game was written well before OSC turned into a babbling psychopathic far far far far far far far far far far far far right wing tract writer. Those themes come in later, and supposedly they start to creep into sequels of this book. Now all he writes is...
Not official= no way to support the franchise. You can watch virtually anything some guy puts up on Youtube, but being able to support a franchise means that there's a chance that we can see clean official versions in the future.
Animal was shoved down our throats long before Disney got involved. LONG LONG before Disney got involved. For over 20 years, the merchandise was Piggy, Kermit, and Animal related. Look at the Applause plastic mugs.... Then, look at his arguably useless role in MFS. Disney has squat to do...
And yet, they keep clinging to Parenthood when no one actually watches it. What a maudlin, terrible show. It's like a never upbeat, hour long version of Modern Family.
There really should be an online presence for The Muppets. I don't know how internet rights are different than home...
