Sesame Street was trying to become a... how do I explain this, as it confuses even me?
Internationally, Sesame Street has become a half hour programming block of Sesame Street related characters. And I feel these segments are supposed to be made for the American show, while having the...
Kinda what I've been trying to say all along.
Weird Al has been doing a LOT of voice work recently. Wreck-Gar on Transformers Animated, Himself on Batman Brave and the Bold, and Banana Man on Adventure Time among others. He was on The Simpsons twice, too. I really hope that he becomes a...
If anything, Disney should sell all of the Saban owned cartoons (if they didn't already) that weren't Marvel character related back to Saban. Then we could probably see Eek the Cat on DVD or something.
Seriously, almost any Fox Kids show that wasn't Power Ranger or Digimon related was awesome...
This marks the second time the TMNT had to fight Expys of the aliens from Alien.
In case anyone wants to know, the fist ones were the Mutant Pizza Monsters from the old cartoon series.
These squirrels even had the mouth on the tongues.
I think what's really lost in translation is the chicken and egg mystery of this project's origin. It really seems to me that too many are reading into the "Disney picked an at the moment star to make the Muppets popular," and that's going to cast a shadow of cynicism on this project to those...
Actually, anyone subscribing to them on Youtube should see that they've started something called "Throwback Thursdays." And by that I mean, just started and they only have one not that old 90's or so clip of Ernie and Bert with a Banana telephone.
They're uploading things almost daily...
Actually, it was just before Jim died. Eisner showed way too much interest in the Sesame Street characters over the Muppet Show and Fraggle Rock ones and Jim refused to sell as a result.
I don't think they'll divulge any 45th anniversary plans until the 44th season is over at least. Anything we'd get won't be announced for a little while at least, much like last time. When did we even find out about the big coffee table book? I doubt it was a year in advance.
I'm starting...
Like I said, give them all the time in the world so we can work out the stupid rights that kept the theme song off the last set. That was embarrassing. I'd rather wait to have a quality set with no rights hold ups than have them rush one out.
Besides... next year is the 45th. SW could be...
I'm finally caught up.
Anyone else catch that "Cole Plastics" joke?
The Logo is the same markings of Plastic Man's Belt and Cole as in Jack Cole, creator of Plastic Man.
And yes. Pyg and Toad are excellent villains. It's a shame they don't have any collectibles yet. I love the Joker...
Yeah. Top rated Marvel Movies, 3 high rated cartoon shows based on Marvel properties. Things have never looked worse for them. :coy:
Need I make a joke about how Lucas already ruined Star Wars when he still owned it?
I swear they did. If anything, they actually stamp designs besides the m's now. Pumpkin shapes and stuff. I know they sometimes have flavored ones that sound nasty around this time. Candy Corn flavored ones. Really. Never tried them.
I reiterate... The billboard was digitally altered. It had a far worse Disney movie originally on there. The one with the talking Gnomes. I'd rather see Spy Talking Cars than Talking Lawn Gnomes Destroying Shakespeare any day.
Totally. Anyone complaining that a Muppet Movie has no fourth...
To elaborate on something Jamie said a while back about the Smurf films, I managed to get "The Legend of Smurfy Hollow" and I have to say, why couldn't the films be like that? I liked the second one far more than the first (which was just a random collection of loud gags and poorly personified...
The fact that Disney didn't put out a season by season set of this show, a franchise they milked ferociously, proves my point that they HATE doing Season sets. This show is right up there with the classic first few line ups of The Disney Afternoon in quality. Why this is the one time they...
Not so much a worst, but a "why?!!"
I just watched the new movie based Smurf Halloween special (it's far better than the films, and it's mostly 2-D animated, I'll mention it on another thread) and there was this one preview that really got me perplexed.
Remember the 1990's Swan Princess movie...
But first we have to suffer through a re-purposed episode.
I get the budget problems and all, but only 20 new episodes with 6 reruns that may have one new sketch in them is a real drag.
