I think Sunday nights would be perfect for a future show. Either before or after AFV, since that's a great family show and the Muppets would make a pretty nice "companion" to it.
They're cute, but I'm still not totally for the idea of the characters as strictly children's entertainment. Maybe this rumored new show will fix that. But I did get a good chuckle from the Funny Faces bit. Whitmire does such an excellent job at making Kermit feel real.
Time Piece is a really wonderful short. I bought it from iTunes a few years ago and every now and then I revisit it. There are so many surreal images that I feel like I see something new each time I watch it. It's a great short.
I just watched the movie for the first time today since I was about four or five. I agree, the Creature Shop's work was fantastic, as well as the performers'. Great job all around.
Wow, that was really great; especially his thoughts on Disney and the Muppets. I do sort of wish he'd come back and at least direct "The Cheapest Muppet Movie Ever Made" but I'm not going to hold my breath.
There have been some rumors buzzing about on some Disney forums that Muppet*Vision might be getting a new film. Personally, I'm not too fond of the idea. A remaster, maybe, but this was the last film Jim directed and I think that matters.
