And the great Cookie comeback continues! :insatiable:
Splashed all over the season 44 promo material, his own movie parody segment... the fact that you're starting to see as much Cookie Monster on the shelves as Elmo, if not more.
I noticed a funny coincidence between the IDW comics and the cartoon series. I guess I have to put spoilers, so highlight...
In the Nickelodeon cartoon, Karai is the hatefully brainwashed daughter of Hamato Yoshi who is loyal to Shredder... and at the same time, Shredder hatefully brainwashed...
Sarcastic or not, you have to admit, the settlers did some pretty crappy things to the various tribes, then they wind up romanticizing history and making fun of them on television for years.
And Thanksgiving was built on the various romanticized myths we learn in 3rd grade that no one ever...
I went to look for these. Didn't find the new Piggy, but they had the same Kermit and Animal ones from last year. I did manage to find one Chef though.
And as this is a Muppet site, I think I'm required to say they also have the assortment of Sesame Street Elmo, Abby, and Cookie Monsters as...
The "Under God" in the Pledge of Allegiance is complete bull. It was never in the original pledge and was thrown in during the McCarthy era Red Scare. The hilarious irony being that now Russia's so insanely becoming a religious police state (the bad, far right oppressive kind).
Plus it's one...
Yes to all of that. Every year both sides of that argument manage to make complete horsebutts out of themselves, especially if they listen to those jackbooted thugs they call "pundits" that only create controversy to sell those crayon scribbled manifestos of crazy they call "books." On one...
On the Subject of Happy Holidays:
As I've said before, this whole "politically correct" Christmas stuff is a fake outrage created by the Limbaughs and Fox Newses of the world to tick off Christians who are afraid that some group is going to take away their religion or something to start some...
A little late, but they had Halloween plush as well. Got Fozzie and Kermit on clearance, you might not find them now, however. Didn't see the ornaments, though. Must've just came out.
And it's frustrating when you actually side with the righteous indignation. A lot of great TV shows get cancelled and writing petitions doesn't do crap anymore.
And remember, we basically only got Fraggle Rock on DVD because we signed a petition... well... we as in those who have been with...
Another another one...
Interesting side note... in one of the others I just posted a couple posts ago, the 40 dots bit is horizontally flipped to compensate for the reverse of Western language.
You know.. I almost don't get this retiring Forgetful Jones because of Richard Hunt jazz, as Hunt hardly originated the character. Sure, he wouldn't have been as memorable without him
On the other hand, I'm loving that Guy Smiley as come back with a vengeance this season.
Ralph had a fair, I'd say bountiful amount of merchandising in Disney Stores. There were:
3 Different figure sets- one for each major game
an assortment of plush toys
an assortment of small scented plush toys of just the obscure little Sugar Rush characters
Kid's and adults T-shirts
Large...
I see what you mean about those two. MFS could have been much better, but then again it could have also had a lot more movie shout outs than it already had. It's a good if you watch it for Gonzo, the new characters, and Jeffery and Bobo's scenes... but Kermit comes off as not wanting to be...
Cars is one thing. Both movies were successful, and it was an established franchise. Planes was forced. Cars came off as an organic success (at least the first one), where Planes was nothing more than a calculated toy commercial of a film. The movie was meant to be a throwaway DTV release...
The weird thing is, there is plenty of Muppet stuff... just not at the Disney Store for some reason. It's not a huge push, and I agree the Toy Market sucks because toys aren't crappy, easy to develop apps that freaking charge you for in game virtual farts. Why, at the Target Halloween...
