That's what I thought. Apparently whatever's left hid references to TransFats is left in the ingredients of certain items. I do not believe in banning ingredients, but rather shaming them to the point where companies give them up voluntarily. Personally, I get angry when these crappy cheap...
You know what Monty Python song I love the most is? No, not Spam, Knights of the Round Table or Always look on the Bright Side of Life. The humble song of the Bruces singing about Philosophy.
Spinoffs are hard. Taking the most popular characters out of a show and giving them their own series doesn't work as well as it should. Look at any time Scooby and Shaggy are the main characters. that should be comedy gold, as they are the best characters and the ones everyone loves the most...
Hey! I missed the only thing slightly interesting in the episode. Why couldn't they have more of that and less of Ladonna getting bored and watching something else?
Wait. Even Ladonna was bored with the episode.
The episode was too safe. There wasn't any dramatic tension aside from losing a half sandwich and it raining for 2 minutes. And somehow, it wasn't so much exploring as wandering. I dunno... it seemed that there was some potential for a decent episode. They could have found things in the yard...
I take offense to "Loan Gunmen" being on there. I could never get into X-files, but there was something special about Gunmen doing non-alien related conspiracies. Too bad no one cared about it. it was far better than most shows on that list.
To be fair, doing anything about guns, even fair handed things that over 90% of the American population would want would have to go up against the NRA. And they're a group that's only for the gun manufacturers. I'm leaving the debate at THAT and nothing else. In fact, it's debatable what gun...
Again. HEY! Real gun violence? Let's do nothing about it. Kid shoots up a school, we'll pretend to be interested and sad, and do nothing about it. Fake gun violence? ARRRRGGGHHH!!! Won't somebody please think of the children? Nevermind that other acts of violence slap you hard with an R...
Now that I think about it, I'd say "Adventures in Budylon" was one of the worst episodes I've ever seen. Right up there with Postcards from Buster, Buster's Secret Admirer, Around the World in 11 Minutes, and the dreaded In My (never ending crappy song about) Africa. It's just long and boring...
You know, I was looking at those and only found Star Wars and Phineas and Ferb and stuff like that. Didn't see a single Muppet there, and I looked. Maybe they just didn't stock them yet. I'll try another one.
Okay... where is the show going? In circles apparently. The new episodes are, well, other than the fact they're reused concepts, they just haven't been interesting. Then again, they didn't sound interesting to begin with.
The one thing I'm really hating about these 9 Story episodes is that...
They're for people who didn't buy them the first time and they have since gone out of print. Usually much much cheaper as well. Mill Creek is going to rerelease Dilbert for only 10 bucks vs. Sony's original 60 dollar price tag.
Frozen, I'd kinda want to see if I wasn't more patient and desperately drooling over Anchorman 2. The marketing is screwed up, no doubt about it. Same problems they had with Tangled. They have a female leaning fairytale that they have to market to boys, and there's quite a bit too much...
Here's Shalom Sesame being completely inconsistent with the number of the day.
I honestly don't see why the only number translated was 9. "Is it four?" is left untouched but "Could it be TESHYA ?" was changed. And then almost every utterance of the number 9 was hilariously changed...
That has it's audience, and I'll give it that. It's good at what it does. But really... for that big budget (that doesn't look it) Sci-Fi epic to get spanked that bad that even Free Birds managed to sneak in front of it is amazing. I guess I was right. The Sci-Fi and Comic nerds were waiting...
Well, by "English version" you mean almost instrumental except for punctuated "Pac-Man"with dialogue...
It's good, but the lyrics really give it a punch. But it's always great when the video game companies embrace the cartoon versions. Too bad it doesn't happen too often.
This song's Engrish is as campy as heck, but darned if it doesn't add to the charm.
Speaking of campy...
Now that's some so bad it's good stuff right there. Especially with the guy dancing around it. And it's catchy. I was writing off as stupid the second I saw and heard it... but it...
To those who wanted Ender's Game to bomb badly...
BOOYAH!!!
Thor's relatively big opening is no surprise. But Ender's Game got spanked. It fell all the way down to fifth place behind Last Vegas and Free Birds. WOW! Just... just WOW! I guess we don't have to worry about a Lionsgate Orson...
I already said this in another thread, but I might as well restate it here... maybe get some information on who did it.
Now, I'm no big fan of Christmas music (or generic Winter Music they incorporated into Christmas), unless a cartoon character or Muppet sings it. But there's one song in...
