Sample pictures for the Dudley Do-Right comic that will be part of the Rocky and Bullwinkle mini-series.
Every one of the four issues will have a Dudley Do-Right in the middle.
Heh. They don't even think about closing schools up here unless it's over 6 inches. Though they did cancel it the night of a forecasted huge storm that only gave us like 4, maybe 5... and that was a week ago. It's actually been too cold (or rather, too dry) to snow over here. I wouldn't mind...
Here's what the Turtles will look like in that probably awful new movie
While I have issues with Shredder's Mask, I'm not terribly surprised that the Turtles look almost like the "Out of the Shadows" game design. Not bad, actually. The battle armor kinda looks like the TMNT Dojo large...
The amount of brain-numbing backwards thinking out there is horrifying beyond belief. I hope to see more mixed race couples in commercials to rub their 1918 noses in it.
Yeah. I don't get that logic. Even if you weren't supposed to, I mean you could put a strobe light and a Hanna Barbera sound effects CD, and it would work exactly the same for that age. Sprout could benefit from classic kid's programming. Sesame Street reruns or not, there's always Reading...
I've never really faced that problem, but you can't blame a show for the fanbase. Besides, true fans know what the influences are because they were stated by the creator. Jake is supposedly based on Bill Murray's character in Meatballs, and that's straight from the horse's mouth.
HOWEVER, on...
Cultural things that those outside the culture don't understand is another thing.
Though I will agree there's something up when lighter skinned characters are used as the more attractive ones in these kinds of films. That's pretty unfortunate implications right there.
That's too busy, right there. The real excitement (even if it's fanservicy) is that The Electric Mayhem are the stars of this commercial. And to paraphrase ToughPig's article on it, we didn't get a full EM number in The Muppets, but we got one here. It seemed plenty chaotic enough, could have...
Looks like they might just have got the hint about the Fozzie they released last time. The eye and nose placement look much better.
But then again, it's hard to tell from the sample pic.
All I know about the Marvel/Toei deal was that there were undefined plans for more projects, but all we got was that Tomb of Dracula anime (it's awful, especially when Harmony Gold dubbed it), the Spider-Man tokatsu series, and putting a very obscure character (Miss America) into Battle Fever J...
UGH! I just saw a freaking Progressive Ad that used the same "Oh oh oh oh" music. At least they staggered it and shook it up with a few "na na na nas."
The whole thing. And it's Electric Mayhem-centric. You can't go wrong with that.
It completely blows all those Jessica Simpson and Muppets Pizza Hut commercials out of the water.
It's a pretty obvious move to market it like that, actually. I'm starting to see more movie trailers that star certain actors during shows with the same actors in it. And that goes back as far as A Bugs Life, because I swear I remember seeing a Spin City episode having a commercial break where...
Refusing to see the spoiler-ifficness of that track listing, I can't help but wonder what that song is, and something tells me they'll use it ironically anyway. Like "We Built This City" last time.
We have much better toy making technology these days that gives more detail where we didn't before. That stuff's ugly because it's some of the first things they released. While modern Sesame toys have a unified cute look to them, they're much better looking than some of the first things they...
