Aw, I stand corrected! I was gonna say I dont think JHC would have ok'd this.
Btw, why such the drastic shift from cool mini plushes in UK to absolutely abhorrent mini plushes at the german mcdonalds?

WOW...*hoping other cartoons can get a revival online*
Oh Luke! A glossy color magazine like Farscape or Star Wars Insider is what JHC needs to do! Everything you said, the innovation, promotion with fans, actual Muppet chats on the net, etc. Sadly the reality is the company is hog tied by a variety of things. If only Muppet fans had the gusto of...
Well if life were fair, those old blue prints for a Muppet theme park addition to an existing theme park would have happened...we'd still have JH and RH, the JHC would be a very well off corporation with a 24 hour JHC channel, and all would be good. Sadly life is not fair...but there is always...
THANK YOU! So much is said on here about KSY sucking, blah blah. Sure, ok...its not the best JHC thing...but at least they filmed the whole firs part in a real life outdoor location...the same cant be said for a lot of recent Muppet features.
BUT! The dvd IS worth it for:
The Joe the...
Holy Abomination Batman!
Um, I dont want to say my respect for JHC's business decisions are going down hill...but um...they wouldnt let them use Kermit, BUT they'll let Kermit be represented by a freaking store bought puppet? Dont they know idiots over there will think *that is* Kermit...
Yeah, Rainbow Connection song on an advert, thats nice...but um, WHERE WAS the actual Muppet commercials? (Mastercard, etc)? Grrrrr...Oh well, least we got that sweet Matrix commercial!
I think its a case of the outside looking in. Im hopeful the days of the fully inclosed set movie days are over. And I would love to see an outdoor thing implemented in a new show. I mean why not? Ever since JH debuted the idea to take the Muppets out of the theatre, and into real life...those...
Sadly, there was no Muppet commercials this year...but there was a spot to the tune of the Rainbow Connection for some technology/communications company.
Excellent! Yeah the Big Tobacco should be shut down for trying to market to kids.
...BUT!!! WOW!!! CONGRATS ON THE PLACEMENT! Very Uber Cool!
Smart people rawk! hehe
On congrats on the hug! I could barely get a handshake from the lunchoen lady at your age, let alone a girl I liked, so...
You want to do an indie Winnie the Pooh film? Like Pooh Clerks, or Resevior Bears? ^_^
Yeahhh...best sticking with your own puppets kid(assuming youd be making Winnie Puppets...unless you have big ol mascot suits or the time to do painstaking animation)
Re: FRAGGALE ROCK DOOZER
1) Hopefully you will *NEVER* ever see a real Muppet for sale...EVER.
2) That doozer prop, while authentic...well you'd have to be a total dumb *** to pay $5000 for that. What was that auctioneer thinking? $5000!??!?!?!?!?! Maybe $500, but dang!
If you want a...
Ack, forgot about Daria! Love that sardonic wit post bohemian emo indie mod artsy angle. Oddly enough this was actually a spinoff of Beavis and Butthead.(Suprised noone mentioned B&B, one of the first 'less than apporpriate' primte tme cartoons like South Park)
Yeah too bad Family Guy got...
I dont know how anyone can watch it! LOL there was only one reason to endure the pain of the game; that sweet new Matrix sequel trailer! (err, and some of the funny commercials...though they were sadly few and far between this year)
Btw, I think my friends and I were the only people on the...
Well I hate to say it, but this server is fubared! The forum either gives the 'page cant be found' white screen thing or 'server is busy' message half the time.
Oh I cannot say enough good things about the B-52's! When I think back to what was great and innocent about the 80's, I think of the cool art rock new wave bands like the B-52's, Devo, Talking Heads, Pixies, etc.
Its funny, I actually do an excellent impersonation of Fred Schneider;)...
Indeed, then again with the exception of the Disney bean plush and Igel stuff...its pretty much standard to expect absolutely abhorrent renditions of our beloved characters, heh.
