*YAY*!!! So cool people remember that show! That, ALF, and cosby were my fave 80's sitcoms hands down! "Don't be rediculous cousin Larry!"..LOL, the Meposian Dance of Joy. Man, all great sitcoms I think came from the 80's. Even Seinfeld debuted in the Summer of 1989!
Btw, Bronchot Pinchot is...
Yeah, you are so right. After haven been a HUGE fan from the late 80's til the late 90's...I just cant bring myself to be a fan anymore. When every episode has a 'why are you wtahcing this? we ran out of ideas, wink wink' message to it, juxtaposed against just plain creepy and grotesque site...
Word;) Unravelling the mysteries of life and the symphony of time and space itself is quite nice.
Actually every few posts it gives me a "The server is too busy at the moment. Please try again later." message. Man, this forum sure is screwy as of late!
Man!!!!!!!!!!!! These look nothing like the cool German Mcdonalds set I got! What happened? I mean I know Europe has vastly way more hardcore fans than here, but stilll...not right to subject those folks to such attrocities! Man, nothing more uglier than Muppet merch that makes ya wanna puke^_^
Yeah, being a not so fond person of punk, ska, and angry tough guy rap metal...or cliche 'Im so goffik!' silly gothic and punk fashion, yeah...or those employees...how many piercings and tattoos does one need?
But yeah, get past all the crap there and your elooking at you rone stop Muppet...
Hey, I thought you had your Britney Spears cut out for that? ;)
But yeah...*hide for cover* Forget Danny's "Wirst Muppet Toy Ever" threads on TP...this is it, hands down!

Behold. Forget those arguments about which Nanco likeness looks worse...this is it...hands down the most stomach churning, grotesque and disturbing piece of official Muppet merchandise ever.
*shivers*
It's brilliant stuff...so glad ya guys in the UK get to see it now. This truly was IMHO the best Muppet thing I saw in 2002.
Now if only a new movie and show oculd be as hip!
Closet? Well coem out of that shell closet, as NO BETTER time to be a TMNT fan than now! With a kick butt great new cartoon coming next month, new toys, new comic, new video games coming out...heck its almost like 1989 again! hehe
as for the movies...sad how the film series went from dark and...
Heh, I actually got to hang out with Ray Liotta, Jason Patric, the director Joe Carnahan, etc at a VIP party for the priemere of the film. cool guys, but Ray Liotta seems a little too close to a wax statue, LOL (or akin to his role at the end of Hannibal) I actually mentioned to him I thought he...
Why oh why cant we just let the mysterious JHC associated lurkers be? We scared off Bill Baretta sadly from the old MC...I wouldnt want folks to scare off the few JHC related contacts left;)
How aboot that early Gobo eh? ;)
Yeah, Gobo really did a good job filling that requisite roll of the leader...I personally thing Gobo is Jerry's best character ever. I know officially Floyd is his signature character, but Gobo is my fave of his..second would have to be Scred from Saturday...
Oh dude...all I gotta say is BEST BUY!!! I cant see how anyone could get any dvds at Suncoats, Virgin, or any other high priced store. They got Dark Crystal Special Edition dvd, and all the other Muppet dvds for $15! Heck, I even picked up Donnie Darko for $10...man, these guys have insanely...
Um...yeah...that's the ticket!;)
Fave line of the night from a fan:
Dave/Gorgon Heap to THEE Sweetums:
"Hey, do you ever check out Muppet Central?"
I forget what Sweetums said back...though since Muppets dont really have aposable thumbs, I imagine it'd be kind of hard to use a...
Re: Re: Re: The figure returns for another plug!
Well you make some valid points. I know you get picked on in here, but unlike past 'Statler and Waldorf' types, I think you are making these arguments for a reason.
You wanna know something? Maybe its the bad economy, maybe its buyer...
The first TMNT film ranks as one of my top 3 films of all time...JHC made that film cool(Splinter was even puppeteered by Kevin Clash) and if there is ever to be a new live action theatrical TMNT film they definately need JHC aboard. There is a big new TMNT revival happening(the new Ninja...
Holy crash Batman!
I found MC to be down most of the day, be it a server outage or that file error message. Then again Palisades forum has been crashed a lot of times as of late. Must be that Jelsoft vBulletin template thing....I swear everyone's using that forum template, and I do mean...
Coolness, Ive been waiting for an announcement of a Bear movie for a couple years now. Even if it was just a straight to video thing that would so rock. Only thing is, I hope Bear and the gang somehow make it to New York or other real life locations.
It's been really sad seeing, how after...
I would have to say hands down the Today Show, and NBC in general. From the countless appearences of Muppet Show and Sesame characters on the Today Show, Macy's Thanksgiving Parade, etc.
Another big one was Rosie and her show. Say what ya will about her, but there is no denying she was one...
