Aw good times, good times...and yeah, it is like crack...*must...collect...all...8...assorted figures, and the test toy, toddler toy, and Canadian Happy Meal variants!* ^_^
I know a lot of us have been kind of harsh on Modern Diz, turning the mouse into a proverbial Everlast punching bag...but I wanted to mention a few of the things they are doing right.
In the midst of such snafus as Country Bears, Treasure Planet, and an endless array of cheapquels...
I dont recall Little Bird that much...but now the little bird now has his own mini action figure(thanks to those great folks in Japan) and if ya look closely Jamie put him in the MC 5th Annv banner.
You dont think there is an alternate reality from that lineage in modern day Netherlands do you? Hmmmm....very very interesting.
Btw, I think my name in Dutch would be 'Coory'...with little lines through the "O's";)
Hey, it's all goed;)
Hey, I remember all those cool sigs Jamie made for people! Good times. Man, so weird it hasnt even been a year on the new forum, but it was definately a needed change...Delphi forums is so like the dark ages when I think about it. Im surprised folks still use that. Then again the...
Holy smokes this is HUGE news! Ive been a fan of Gaiman(Sandman comic), and Dave Mckean(Sandman covers, Cages, Black Orchid, etc) for a long time...so this news of them working with JHC is too cool. I can only imagine the astonishing visuals this will have. Good to see JHC finally coming back to...
Well Im torn with the Farscape thing...I mean Im so glad Brian Henson's dream project has gotten unparralled support(not thrilled about ci Fi's high treason Judas act they pulled on the show) but it just gugs me how savefarscape and other like sights are bursting at the seems with hardcore...
Care Bears, Shortcake, and all that other cutesy cartoon garbage from the 80's makes me less than happy, when I see merch of that at Hot Topic. Then again Im not a fan of Scooby Doo, and other so called iconic classics. What *I AM* a big fan of of course was the anime influenced stuff I loved...
Heh, I was one of the first to lamblast the announcement of the EM.TV thing two years ago on MC(back in my more outspoken days;) ) And whats this about the company dying? Oh no...
didnt ya see a Very Merry Xmas? Bitterman(AKA EMTV) can buy the theatre, but symbolicly they can never destroy it...
Re: Guys,
Warrick actually not buying something Muppety? j/k...yah you are so right! Ya know, JHC has a bunch of really cool photos of the Muppets(Pepe at an art gallery, Rowlf on the high seas, etc) that were up temporarily on the cards section of henson.com...sadly they were all taken...
What was Delphi? j/k...sadly theres a few folks that continue to toil in the dark ages of Delphi, but we wont get into that;)
Oh my...we could actually see Akasha, Tekwych, Grail, and the whole Palisades Forum clique on here if the forums continues to be down!^_^
Aw, that explains it...
Dear gosh, what is that guy smoking? The only thing worse than over priced Muppet merch on ebay is ugly Muppet stuff, and groslly misspelled Muppet names like 'Fonzie or Geore the blue fur guy'.^_^
then again, nothing compares to that guy charging $5000 for a Doozer prop, c'mon! I can...
It's not just that EM and Mcdonalds went behind JHC's back to make a horrific commercial and even more horrific toys...but that website itself...muppets.de, SCARY! Just something about that whole site is such an eye sore.
Oh totally. These will definately stand as some of the most astonishingly bad Muppet merch ever. Btw Dr. Tooth, you always got the most cryptic acid trip Muppet avatars! hehe
Hey Pompeo!
Yeah, you definately have the right, being in a virtual Muppetless country to seek out whatever ya need online...be it trades, ftp sites, usergroups, etc.
I mean you now can find the digital widescreen dvd of LOTR on ebay, so I dont think anyones gonna care about getting a...
