I never really read Hot Stuff, and I'm kinda disappointed only one of the Casper DTV movies has Spooky and Poil in it (the Christmas one... it really isn't bad, if you look past the primitive CGI). Seems like they're going for a much sassier character than Casper. Nice to see, actually, them...

Well, that probably explain it. :rolleyes: He kinda has a thing for appearing in bad films. I'd say he was not just in the Smurfs film, but also played the worst character in it, but the Smurfy Hollow side special was actually quite good, and they rescued his character from the Scrappy heap...

Those designs wouldn't translate to 3-D if they were Pixar quality. Jimmy Neutron was less ugly. And I like Neutron.

It's a shame that Wal*Mart and TRU had more to do with the show's downfall than that.

Okay, that doesn't look that bad, but the animation is still pretty low quality (below weekly TV series CGI quality), and those are some pretty ugly character designs. The writing could actually be good, but it just looks like an ugly film.

I really can't chose from MMW... I really liked all the songs in that one. There's no song on the level of Man or Muppet, but on the other hand, no song nearly as weak as "Me Party." But I'd have to go with Maybe favorite I'll get you what you Want and Least Favorite, God I Hope I get It...

Plush toy vs. plastic representation. There's a difference. You can sculpt a figure, adding sharp details and close likenesses. A plush toy is essentially stuffing a pillow to look like something. The smaller the plush is, the harder it gets to detail.

Like I said, that was a weak episode all around. Somehow, the story didn't make sense to me as if the girl wanted a unique animal, a horse is the furthest thing from unique for a girl in a story to have. There's a reason why cartoons devoted to them are for girls... eh... or are supposed to be...

Nice to see some variety with this one. It felt a little more grounded with a less quirky companion this time. I really like that guy (his name escapes me) with the cartoon animal nose. Still wonder what his role in the series was. I thought he was Clarence's dad.

I have problems with it, but it's really not that bad. There was an effort, but it appears that most of it was lost in translation somehow. Puppets looked very good, though. If there's one area they did well in, at least you can say it was that.
