    The Muppets Omnibus

Well, I usually tend to stay away from reprints of comics I already have, but this looks like a classy addition to any collection. A nice coffee table book that can sit next to the Sesame Street 40th, The Works, and The Character encyclopedia. Plus, you don't have to expose the comics to...

The Next Dreamworks Classic Media movie is...

I never really read Hot Stuff, and I'm kinda disappointed only one of the Casper DTV movies has Spooky and Poil in it (the Christmas one... it really isn't bad, if you look past the primitive CGI). Seems like they're going for a much sassier character than Casper. Nice to see, actually, them...

The Next Dreamworks Classic Media movie is...

Hot Stuff the devil?! It's got a Bob's Burger's writer at least. Sounds like it could be funny. But really? They go for the most obscure Harveytoons character they could have, huh? Makes sense. Richie Rich and Casper had movies... Baby Huey had that... Easter special thing where he was a guy...

The Worst CGI Kid Films In Recent Memory

Well, that probably explain it. He kinda has a thing for appearing in bad films. I'd say he was not just in the Smurfs film, but also played the worst character in it, but the Smurfy Hollow side special was actually quite good, and they rescued his character from the Scrappy heap...

The Worst CGI Kid Films In Recent Memory

Those designs wouldn't translate to 3-D if they were Pixar quality. Jimmy Neutron was less ugly. And I like Neutron.

Interesting comic about cartoon focus groups

It's a shame that Wal*Mart and TRU had more to do with the show's downfall than that.

The Worst CGI Kid Films In Recent Memory

Okay, that doesn't look that bad, but the animation is still pretty low quality (below weekly TV series CGI quality), and those are some pretty ugly character designs. The writing could actually be good, but it just looks like an ugly film.

    The Rick and Morty thread

While I can't post it here, I noticed something... There's a pre-Rick and Morty "Doc and Mahrti" web cartoon that's about SCUD the Disposable Assassin. And as such, the plotline of SCUD is for the assassins to deactivate and die when they're finished with their mission. Now, considering...

    Best/Worst songs from Muppet films

Hey, even I managed to like Naptime and The Witch is in the House from that...thing I shall not name. As much as the lyrics to The Witch are actually pretty disturbing for a Muppet Movie. "they're pretty disturbing for a Saw movie!"

Your Thoughts: "Muppets Most Wanted" Theatrical Film

I'm not so much disappointed at the results so much as P.O'd. MMW may not have made much money, but exactly what movie has the last month domestically? Certainly not...uh... I can't even remember the names of them, actually... need for Speed. AH! Okay, that, something with AH-nold, a Tyler...

    Best/Worst songs from Muppet films

Yeah. I think we get the point...

    Best/Worst songs from Muppet films

I really can't chose from MMW... I really liked all the songs in that one. There's no song on the level of Man or Muppet, but on the other hand, no song nearly as weak as "Me Party." But I'd have to go with Maybe favorite I'll get you what you Want and Least Favorite, God I Hope I get It...

Anyone Find The Muppets More Funny Now?

I can't answer this accurately since my weird sense of humor registers odd things over well crafted satire. I mean, the funniest Muppet Skit to me is "Any Old Iron" because of the Muppet with the missing eye, the funniest Fraggle Rock bit was when the Trashheap said "Oh, a THIRD course! How...

Disney gets sued by a toy company over Lotso Huggin' Bear

I'll tell you this much. Trying to make it less confusing either makes it more confusing, or it makes the toy company CEO a greedy, vindictive, pathetic loser with a paper thin case trying to go after Disney's big bucks for sort of kind of stealing a name. This has very little to do with a...

    Truly awful figures

Plush toy vs. plastic representation. There's a difference. You can sculpt a figure, adding sharp details and close likenesses. A plush toy is essentially stuffing a pillow to look like something. The smaller the plush is, the harder it gets to detail.

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 44

Like I said, that was a weak episode all around. Somehow, the story didn't make sense to me as if the girl wanted a unique animal, a horse is the furthest thing from unique for a girl in a story to have. There's a reason why cartoons devoted to them are for girls... eh... or are supposed to be...

    The Clarence thread

Nice to see some variety with this one. It felt a little more grounded with a less quirky companion this time. I really like that guy (his name escapes me) with the cartoon animal nose. Still wonder what his role in the series was. I thought he was Clarence's dad.

    International skits on Youtube...

I think Oscarfan posted this one a while ago, but this time, it has subtitles so we know what's going on...

Whimzie's House? A Closely Muppet related show?

I have problems with it, but it's really not that bad. There was an effort, but it appears that most of it was lost in translation somehow. Puppets looked very good, though. If there's one area they did well in, at least you can say it was that.

Disney gets sued by a toy company over Lotso Huggin' Bear

Toy company sues Disney over something Disney owns... Sounds legit.
