Henson posted some short video clips to Youtube...
This one actually remembers that they need radishes to make Doozer Sticks:
So far, it does look pretty good, not bad, but nothing groundbreaking.
I bet this. The first few episodes will be free, but everything else requires paid...
I'd say with MMW's low turn out, an FR movie isn't likely. And trust me, I'm as crushed about both of that as the next Muppet fan.
It's always the easy route to say that revivals are always rotten... but that's because there's no care and attention to detail and we get in name only...
This series is absolutely delightful. THIS is why we need to see more female creator based cartoon series. This thing is excellent. It appeals to both boys and girls at the same time. And I just love the truer anime style of the series (none of that "oh, let's throw in some Japanese style...
They only gave it two. Somehow it kinda caught on, but didn't... I dunno. But the show at least brought some life back into the property, and WB started releasing more Looney Tunes stuff since the show started (more DVD's, if crappy kiddy ones, merchandising, and rerunning the old series on CN...
I was very impressed with that episode and the usage of Rosita as a whole this season. While being Hispanic certainly shouldn't be what the character is only about, they seem to forget virtually any of that for the character in the past few seasons, just using her character because Elmo needed...
Kevin Eastman still thinks we're all going to love it.
Exact quote:
At least one of the creators likes it... I guess that's good?
I do hope to be pleasantly surprised to the extent that I have very low expectations of this movie to the tune of "I'm only here for Vernon." But so far, it...
Here's the link to the project
Some sort of Parental/Child development project in the style of a parody news show.
Looks pretty good. Hope this gets funded.
Can't wait to hear people whine about Terry Bulltwos mocking blowhard mouthpieces.
I loved how Clarence was in awe at the huge woman in a motor scooter. And the old woman essentially groping him all over, thinking he was a ham (and the ham in a can label looking a LOT like him).
I like how the show has a recurring thread, but every episode offers something different in...
I take most of that back. They are dumping the series because they're too abysmally cheap to keep the show going when Mattel once again proves how much it sucks by refusing to make a toy line since there's a girl in the cast, and making an action figure would give the rest of the line cooties...
I read somewhere that the sitcom format was decided upon due to the hardlined classic Looney Tunes fans never being happy about anything made past 1959. They had the choice of trying desperately to recreate the old cartoons in a weekly format, or do something different. Seems they'd complain...
Just making conversation, actually.
I get your point roundly. I've jumped out of various message boards for various reasons, and that sort of complainy conduct is why I stay far far faaaaar away from any semblance of a Transformers fanbase. I can see parallels between the two. Their...
Well, to me, Lisa's unpopularity comes from the fact that she's the writer's mouth piece and Creators' pet to the point where it comes off like those kinds of fan fiction written by fans who are obsessed with a character. The last several seasons kinda focused more on her than any member of the...
Evolution is something that cannot be helped. Let's forget the post-Jim products and look at the massive evolutionary changes since the Muppets were created. We wouldn't have a TV show. We'd just have little novelties where they mimed to current songs, versus the huge thing thing the Muppets...
Wizard Money Broom was brilliant! Just the epitome of what they're going for in Clarence's endless optimism. He was down for about 10 seconds in the entire episode.
That's it. I have a fan theory. Clarence grows up to become Uncle Grandpa. I see parallels at least.
Anyway, I especially...
I wish I knew how to just post links to videos and not post them directly here. I want to share several that I'm actually proud of, but they have some NSFW/CNSFAFS* moments in them.
Tell ya what. I'll post some, with the warning that they have random bursts of juvenile usage of adult themes...
Which is why I find licensing bullcrap, if you ask me. The same 5 stock images on every item? And they HAVE to be copied from the style guide, which, more often than not, was created before the show went into production and look NOTHING like the characters that they represent. I've always...
This is a brilliant idea in theory. Beware the Batman wasn't going to get that kid's audience, and it's never going to get a toy line because one of the characters is a girl, and somehow kids HATE girl characters in toy lines... you know, like every toy company not named Mattel doesn't believe...
It would be great if they made some sort of celebrity edit of a popular Sesame Street song, like they do every anniversary. Nothing as clumsy as Dance Myself to Sleep was, though.
I find myself less and less motivated to do these things now, mainly because I don't want to have to buy expensive editing software to get the effects I want. If I want something backwards, I have to cut it frame by frame.
Plus, I kinda half get inspired by something, and it doesn't actually...
