Holy canole! Looks like JHC finally did what I had always wanted...a Muppet on the street interview segment! I was stunned watching tonight's Kermit cohosting of Jimmy Kimmel...as it was so cool seeing Kermit randomly going up to people in Hollywood asking them questions(ala the Jay Walking...
Hey fellow MuppetCentral folks! Ack, sorry if it seems I've been a bit absent from my favorite forum of 5 years(wow, it doesnt seem like that long! heh)
Yes, it was 5 years ago I joined MC...err, and nothing was the same again.
Anyways, I've been very busy with my new wacky webcomic...
Well, EB now says 9/25...so only a week or so til what is arguably the most anticipated series of the Palisades Muppet line comes out!
I expect smaller businesses like online and comic shops to get them first, so please be sure to let us know ASAP when they land!
Well, the Magic Kingdom has a better record than Paramount's Great America in CA...I think they've had about two dozen deaths(ranging from drunken stupidity to ride failures) in the last 2 decades(tho most in the last decadde and a half)
Ive heard rinky dink carnival rides are more safe than...
holy post revival batman!
That's actually not from Palisades(tho a great casteline sculpt nonetheless) but from a fan of Palisades I think.
It is definately a shame Skeksis figures never came out...with all the movie creatures out, you'd think...but nope. I'm pretty astonished no company...
Hold the phone...a FR cameo on both JHH and Dinosaurs? I love hearing about Muppets mixing with Creature Shop(like when a fizzgig-ish character cameo'd on FR, or when creature shop dogs mix with muppets)
Well, the most anticipated Muppet series of them all(Pepe, Camilla/Gonzo, Janice, Newsman) is due out this month. Does anyone know if the projected release date is still last week of September?
Knowing how intregal Europe and particularly the UK has played for the survival and legacy of the Muppets...this is most distressing news.
I guess there was a big price to bay for the buyback...I hope this doesnt turn into a Muppets Helms Deep before too long.
Gosh, I hope there's some good...
Interesting. Yeah they didnt look quite Muppet like. What what defines a Muppet? Surely a Skeksis is not a Muppet, but Land of Gorch could be distant cousins of the Skeksis. Surely Contruction Site is not Muppets...
however if you take various dog scenes in Muppet specials, than use both...
Do they still have the kid studio audience? That too me is just super cheesey, and more akin to something from Barney, Greg the Bunny, UHF, or Death to Smoochy than anything JHC related.
Man, Pepe looks more like Pepe than the Palisades one. And that Beaker looks cool too. Must try to find these next week(of course I will be taking them apart and resembling them into jointed action figures of course)
Err, so pretty much ALF bottomed out;) Sorry Luke, had too. He's probably been having a few cold ones with Ralph Macchio, David Fastino, Gary Coleman, Pauly Shore and the kid who played Webster about the 'good ol days'. Though, from his sporatic appearences in tv commercials he still looks good.
D'oh! I was going purely off the cnn article on the show...so I saw the word's "Avenue Q" and was like 'whats up?'. Maybe it was wishful thinking, heh.
Yeah it was weird seing Triumph the dog in a Muppet film tho(VMC)
heh, all this Disney Henson back and forth weve had over the years on here, all this time Disney and JHC have been putting out a GREAT show. I dont know how hoobs is, but I have nothing but high praise for Bear. Even tho its heyday was 2000, Im hoping it comes back in a big way.
YES! As a...
Luke, JHC cant even spent 5 minutes to update Muppets.com(which I find pretty sad) ...I think the only collectors club is the Palisades one.
You know, I see no reason why JHC cant whip Muppets.com into something really special...or maybe Im the only one who notices what should be the main site...
It doesnt get any weirder than this...
While the headline will be 'Madonna bump and grinds and makes out with Britney and Aguilera', for us Muppet fans it will be Eminem and his stage antics with Avenue Q's Ed puppet.
(from cnn.com)
"I got into this little anger management program ... and...
Ack, I thought it said 'PlayBoy Puppetry Journal' for a second, I was like "???" ;) Anyways, holy goodness, the Kevin andMuley team up continue to gian new ground...congrats Kev! May 2004 be you and Muley's shining year!
