A point I make quite a bit, actually. On the one hand, yes... the episodes are a little tired and labored. That is a natural affliction of long running programs. And some programs get tired really early in their run as well. And considering the show's actual demographic, they really don't...
While not officially one way or another, TMNT '07 was a sort of case. While it was supposed to slightly connect with the original film trilogy, with the opening sort of as a where are they now deal, there are some cases in the film that link it to the then current show. Karai was not...
No, but that was 2 movies. MTM, MCC, and MTI made more modest numbers, adjusted. FTB really didn't make too much, but it's been considered an important part of Sesame Street retroactively.
And look at Labyrinth. The biggest Henson money loser there is. Is it forgotten? Absolutely not...
I have to admit. Once they brought back Link Hogthrob, I pretty much stopped caring about anyone else. I mean... it's ...Link...Hogthrob!
But I'll admit that there are those who I'd like to see again.
Marvin Suggs- I am so disappointed by the fact that, while he's a puppeteer and regularly...
i was thinking, maybe... not Disney Junior? The Disney channel and Disney XD have shorts as well. Cars, Mickey Mouse, Star Wars Rebels preview Shorts... none of those need a preschool audience.
ugh... if I hear Muppet's Cheapest Movie one more time on this site, I swear... at this point, I'd...
This is the "Worst Muppet Movie Thread." Not the "slight continuity error 99.99% of everyone else who watched the film wouldn't give a crap about" thread. ;)
I was just sifting through Muppet Wiki, and I found this...
Developing Self Esteem that was apparently distributed on filmstrips for classrooms.
Tell me that's not an amazing little curiosity in Sesame Street media. Sesame Street on film is amazing enough. I really wish they showed...
Addressing economic realities is something they'd have to do. The one about how the Toad bought up all the socks in the sock market, horrifyingly accurate and therefore satirical, went over kid's heads.
Anyway, yeah... they done most of these episodes already, better in fact. There's no...
That was back when New Line Cinema wasn't really tied down to a major company, wasn't it?
The first movie came at a time when Super Hero movies weren't exactly a thing (except Batman but even then, Batman was owned by Warner Bros), and the ones that did manage to get made were infamously bad...
It's reached Japan!
The creator of Jo Jo's Bizarre Adventure's doing it.

Now that I think about it, the newer episodes I've seen are missing something that made Spongebob special and wacky in the first place. The live action medium blending featuring the voice actors.
I forget which episode I've seen, but there was one with a sun and a moon, one was Dee Bradley...
Well, CN does it again! The Looney Tunes show has been off the air for a year, and they held over the last episode that freaking long. What's the point of holding one lousy episode over when the show's been banished to Boomerang with no reruns of the show on CN for the foreseeable future...
Sounds like they're trying to get another "April 9th" episode going with that one. With major hurricanes around, I guess they're going to go for the helping little kids cope angle.
I can't believe they're doing a "too short to ride the roller coaster" episode. I mean, really!? And the one...
The rundown of season 18's episodes
Now, I'm not going to lie. Some of those episodes sound like they have potential...
but really?!!? I'm starting to not like the Bud and D.W. episodes. They're probably going to be at least as bad as Adventures in Budylon. Ugh...
On the plus side: no Kate...
They totally blew an opportunity to make him Tobor: The 8th Man... well, they would if anyone born after the 60's knew who that was.
Maybe it's supposed to be Batman the anim-8-ed series? Or Batman For-8-ver? Or Film-8-tion's New 8-Ventures of Ba-8-man and 8Rob8in?
So, like Bert's in there...
and liked.
On the one hand, it's kind of a let down that we have to be that excited about major characters being on their own show, but on the other hand, when they make their appearances, it's always an event.
