Very interesting to see an episode without the Crystal Gems, other than Amethyst's brief role at the beginning and her uselessness at the end. Also nice to see that Lars was that accepted by the Cool Kids from that other episode, not to mention the strange relationship he has with that...
The RIP could probably be changed. Other than that, the whole thing was supposed to be trolling. Too bad that Family Guy fans who read the episode guide were kinda clued that it wasn't going to be permanent.
The real surprise was Peter's Mom dying off screen.
Sure the heck beats Christmas in July. We need more Halloween in the year. I actually prefer Halloween and Easter decorations over Christmas ones. Well... except rubber bugs... those things are nasty!
What I heard a while back is they're going to force Christmas down even harder and earlier...
Eh... no... no they won't. There's a thing called preservatives. Even in the less shelf stable chocolate based ones last a good several months, sometimes a year. Ones that aren't chocolate? Ooohhhh... those horrible Smartees (the American, chalky ones, not the Nestles M&M stuff from Europe)...
What makes me role my eyes more is that: Racist cops? Not newsworthy, you almost get more support for the racist cops. Justin Bieber? OH NOES! He's the worst person in the history of ever! Seriously. Celebrity says something racist- AHHH!! GAWD! Someone blacklist him from everything ever...
While the Numericon and Star Smores bits have me very excited, I'm surprised there isn't more buzz about another street story featuring Guy Smiley.
Sesame Street has had a 10 year or more history with random game show hosts popping up. This is only one of two times in those past years where...
Yeah... I don't think this member gets the point. I'm pretty sure the next post will be about what that member ate for lunch or something. I don't mean to purposely pick on someone, but thread titles are thread titles for a reason.
That doesn't even cover the half of it to call it stupid. It's a blight that it ever was considered, let alone greenlit. Basing a concept on a rhyme is how we got The Chew. And at least with that one, we get a Muppet every so often.
I caught some of the Dog show, and I don't know what to say...
Depending on the McDonalds, of course. Sometimes the extra piece of cheese costs 50 cents more. The whole point of a McDouble was streamlining so it could be just a dollar. Raising the price defeated that purpose.
Common misconception.
A McDouble (which was originally a buck but rose the price 20 cents because stock excuse) has one piece of cheese sandwiched between the patties while a Double Cheeseburger has 2 pieces of cheese on top of each patty. Cheese is somehow 20 cents a slice. Of course, I've...
I know I've been verrrrrry heavy handed with hatred of Wild Grinders as of late. I apologize if it's become obsessive and all... but I've never seen a cartoon that fills me with such deep, dark, burning hate. Not Super Why, not Coconut Fred's Not a Ripoff of Spongebob at all Island, not even...
So, Pitt Soda is peach soda with a pit in it. You know, I just saw peach soda at a supermarket the other day, didn't make the connection, thought it sounded gross. Now I'm totally regretting not buying a bottle and saving it for the next time GF is on Disney. Worst part, it was a store brand...
In one episode of the Mystery Incorporated show, they had a character obviously based on Jareth as one of the monsters.
And for the record... Venture Bros- David Bowie was a character in it, he turned into a bird (just not an owl)... it's a stretch, but pretty clear that it was based on his...
Eh, it doesn't matter. They didn't have luck with Looney Tunes based movies. I just don't see the point of this film at all. And frankly, after they threatened a Marvin the Martian movie that didn't happen, a Bugs Bunny movie that didn't happen... whatever... I doubt this is going to make it...
While I usually don't respond to the same quote twice, I realized something. I agree, it's not unheard of to hold back a student for not being emotionally ready. Almost dropped out of college for that reason. Then again, fat load of good staying there did me. :shifty:
My problem with the...
While I'll believe it's happening when we have actual on scene footage, as they've been threatening to make this one for decades. But it seems that things are becoming a little more final
No details of what the heck the film's going to be exactly are given, outside of it being about the exact...
I read about that. What it ultimately accomplishes is a tax dodge for BK to move its location to Canada to take advantage of loopholes. It's a cynical and gluttonous corporate move. I'm not going back into that rant, but really... Maybe if you guys stop buying lobbyists and use that...
Now that I remember, I think I did see at least one or two filmstrips in middle school... well out of date, obviously. Though the most hilariously out of date thing I saw was a health class video tape that I can't go into as what was so dated isn't appropriate for this site. Though I will...
