As a part of the HBO deal with SW, they've asked them to produce more shows for them. One of which is a Sesame spin-off specifically. It's not debuting in January, as far as I know. It's way too soon for them to have developed anything yet.

Oh yes, Muppet cannon. That thing that barely exists.

Interesting that this is the first mention within the actual show of them being "the Muppets." Also, Zoot continues to kill it. And wow, Lips probably spoke more in this episode than his entire career.

Sorry, I'm not seeing anything like that on SW or TVGuide.

Where are you getting this info from? I don't think that's the case at all. From the PBS listings I've seen, the episodes re-running now are billed as "45##," meaning they're extensions of season 45, not season 46.

A Christmas one!

Nice, thanks! I love the Christmas music each year. Did you notice the Mp3s I added to the Dropbox? I'm not sure if they're things in the rotation this season.

They wouldn't include any credits it in for promotional purposes. I assume it'll have credits; there's a lot of negative space in the shots (such as the one of Cookie and Rosita) where the credits would go.

Yeah, I thought the song last year was a lot better. It was a lot more sublter with the new tagline of the show and yeah, it gave everyone a chance to sing. Not sure what they were thinking with this one. Here's an MP3 if anyone wants it: https://www.sendspace.com/file/m9jao4

"Smart Cookies" looks really neat; lookin' forward to it! I wonder who'll take over for the Fig Newton character, since it's Joey (if they continue making these segments).

"Smart Cookies" seems more like a secret agent thing, not superheros. Seeing as though not every episode features a Smart Cookies segment, I can see it alternating with SG 2.0 re-runs.

I don't really mind it much, the slow-motion. The intro looks GORGEOUS despite it. The show itself won't look nearly as good by comparison. The arrangement is pretty good too; it's a shame it's only one verse, but ah well.

This one was kinda "meh" compared to last week's stellar episode. I'm getting a little tired of the "Scooter and his mom" jokes.

One article said Sonia has been thinking of leaving for some time now. She left before they even started taping the season; so it has nothing to do with SW's new management.

Man, I can't believe how never not funny Zoot has been.

They shot everything for season 46 by this point. They haven't shot any more episodes, as far as I know. Once the press kit goes actual live, you'll see (it's very interesting and odd with how the season episodes are being handled).

Aside from TMS season 1, give me an example of Zoot being 100% on the ball.
