I don't see what the issue is.

Warner Home Video now distributing Sesame Workshop DVDs

Aside from celebrity clips, they've only made 3 Muppet-number centric bits (not involving the Count). So, if they're keeping things widescreen, it's understandable. But if they're throwing full-frame stuff in, there's no excuse.

Classic Sesame Street clips on YouTube

The whole week was about Numbers (on their site and YT), probably to align with the DVD.

Warner Home Video now distributing Sesame Workshop DVDs

I just won a copy of the DVD from an online contest; sweet!

    When you need to rant...

Man, why even have flags anymore? Aren't they made of like dolphins or something? That's so cruelllll!!!!

Warner Home Video now distributing Sesame Workshop DVDs

Is the song they sing ("Count on Friends") longer than it is in the preview, or are there more verses?

Are there Season 1 shows floating around?

Chalk that up to first-season wonkiness.

Are there Season 1 shows floating around?

"We Belong Together" is from Music in the Air, a Hammerstein musical. I didn't realize it wasn't a Sesame original until just looking it up. Clearly, the bit is going off the classic Jim routine of "hip character doesn't do what the square ones do." The song the parents are singing is dull...

Sesame Street animator Jane Aaron dies

Aw, that's sad to hear. Her animations were so unique and varied; stop motion, regular animation, that thing where she'd put animation over live photos. All very well done.

    Vintage TV Guide listings

Well, they're not where patrons can get to them. TV Guides are important to see what aired when, not only show descriptions. I really don't know what the research department does or uses them for, but I can only assume it's to find when certain things aired. Not everything we get has complete...

Kermit and Walter at YouTube Space LA

I think we're missing the big picture. What happened to that video of the Fraggles and the shaved-head NASA guy for the Nerdist channel?!

    Vintage TV Guide listings

They aren't for public viewing though. They belong to the research department. Anywho, these seem to compare to what I've read in the real TV Guides. Sparse info on every show, highlighting very little outside of what celebrity was appearing.

Major Changes in store for Sesame Street Season 46

That was based on something Joey M. said. HE said he had trouble writing for BB, not the whole staff. To me, I've considered the core cast to be these 16: Elmo, Big Bird, Grover, Oscar, Cookie, Ernie, Bert, Telly, Baby Bear, Count, Zoe, Rosita, Abby, Prairie, Snuffy and Murray. Then there's...

Major Changes in store for Sesame Street Season 46

Tyler did Herry for one thing. I wouldn't say he "took over" him.

Sonia Manzano will not be on Sesame Street after Season 45

That's too bad. She was great in everything; she could be silly, but smug and smart as a whip. And a pretty good singer too. Can't say this is a surprise; Maria's barely been used lately at all. It seems Luis will still be around though, to operate his bike shop.

Major Changes in store for Sesame Street Season 46

New article about the set changes: http://digiday.com/publishers/m-makeover-sesame-street-gets-new-look/ But, here's an interesting quote from it: So, will they be the focus of every story? Or will they just be in every story? Seems cryptic, but not negative. We know the others are going to...

    Out To Lunch

BUMP, for useful reason. So, a short while ago, some clips of the special were shown at a Joe Raposo tribute at MoMI. The full show audio was captured and posted by the Muppet Cast: http://muppetcast.com/WordPress/show-254/ The "Out to Lunch" songs come in a little after an hour; it's the...
