What is it with the darn floating Miss Piggy head? Does Henson not have any talented artists these days? Geez! I had hope that they had come to their senses after the Rhino CD had the classic group shot with the original Piggy head.
I hope the pictures appear better than the screen snaps. I'm...
Cute article. Is that the Pepe snap I cleaned up and gave to Dwayne a year ago? If it is - it's good to see it was put to good use. Always good to see the prawn at his best! :) I just hope that the twenty-year EMTV ownership doesn't happen. Geez, them crazy Germans. LOL!
Had to have Pepe in it, and it was really great restyling Miss Piggy's hair. I haven't heard anyone object to losing that terrible perm (the worst period for Miss Piggy IMHO).
There was much more I wanted to add, but there was no time. The concept was sketched out months ago (like most of...
Still no excuse for crummy animation. Why do people let animation slide so much? The Muppet Babies is cheap 6-frame animation that is hastily drawn. If it were poor puppetry you'd be whistling a different tune. Cheap, cheap, cheap! They might as well have pasted the characters on popsicle sticks...
Diet and exercise is pretty easy if you plan it out. I eat 6 smaller meals a day and go to the gym 6 times a week. 30 minutes of cardio every day and weight training 3 of the days. That's really all anyone needs. Keeps a consistant energy level. Just takes discipline and planning, but I love...
The Muppet Babies was a celebration of cheap animation and annoying voice casting. The blue screening technique wore thin after the first season. There was nothing much more to the show. No growth. I still see it as an embarrassment and a terrible, terrible show. Had to say it twice for...
Byron-
Well, I agree with you on the cheapquils. I also won't watch anymore Muppet Babies cartoons. I've plenty of episodes, but never liked it, so I kind of understand. But I gave it a chance. You can't say ya don't like something unless you try it. Mama Frogboy taught me that. ;)
LOL. Yeah. A few weeks ago I glanced at the TV and there was this shot of a beautiful city at night. I thought to myself, "I wish I lived there" and later discovered it was Sanfrancisco! I need to get out more!
How can you people refuse to see any Muppet project? I even watched Elmo In Grouchland. Totally hated it, but as a fan I will eventually buy it. Just seems unMuppetlike to not watch them. Cory - as a fan you are missing out on a lot by not seeing MCC. It is one of my least faves, but has enough...
My New Year's resolution is to live a little bit more. I have been cooped-up in my apartment for about a year. I needed to work that hard and still do, but I need some "me time" this year - away from the computer.
Past resolutions have included quitting smoking, eating healthy, going to the...
Cool graphic, Anders. Love the puppet, Warrick. Scott, the new menu should be online in a few hours. ;) I think fans will really like it. And maybe something for Byron too.
I agree. They needed to strike more of a balance with old and new Muppets. When they make a new character that's basically a facsimile of a classic character - then why not just use the classic one (even if they have to recast the voice)? It seems they figured that out after the Christmas...
Ken has talked in great depth about making a Vet's Hospital playset (Ask Ken thread) and it is definitely on his list. Won't happen in 2003, but he has plans. Have to save some of the best ideas for later. Better pacing.
