Sorry. That one I haven't been able to find. If I come across it, I'll let you know.
Didn't Dave (Rudman) perform the Chef on Muppet Christmas Carol? After all, that was before MTI.
Oh, okay. I thought I read somewhere that it was Carmen, but I guess that information was incorrect. On a related note, it's interesting that Abelardo had so many different performers over the years and Carroll has been with BB for nearly 50 years. (I mean, sure he has Matt as his understudy...

There's also one at the Potlucker website, but that one keeps buffering and pausing over and over again. The Solar Movie site will probably be your best bet.
I've finally found it online so now I can comment on this.
I agree. Billy really shined as Ernie in this one. He really nailed that trademark 'Kee hee hee' laugh. :) I wouldn't have known it wasn't Jim or Steve doing Ernie. I also agree with the above comment on Ryan's Elmo. You wouldn't...
Yeah. It seems like a lot of us have the same problem. Still it's a pain to have to wait a year. I still have yet to see the Halloween special. I don't know why Sesame Workshop won't eventually put those on their You Tube channel. After all, they did start to upload the new Furchester Hotel...
Yeah. That's what I was thinking. I guess it is a little too soon to be concerned about this. I mean they did advertise 'The Muppets' opening the parade rather than 'Kermit the Frog.' I'm sure Kermit/Steve will be around for future projects.
Oh, I didn't know they used alternate puppeteers for this appearance. It makes sense since I know Eric was performing Miss Piggy and Fozzie for the Muppet show Muppet appearances. I guess the other regulars weren't available either. I'm sure they had the regular puppeteers for the voices...
I wondered about that too. While I'm glad they didn't use a 'fake' :) like they did on America's Got Talent in 2009, it was a little weird that he just had a brief cameo with no speaking lines. But I definitely liked the ending with  and Tony Bennett.
I think you meant to say 'Statler'...
I don't know. I'm watching now and makes me wonder about his availability this month, since Kermit was there, but just singing along with the other Muppets. (Statler and Beaker's lines could have been pre-recorded.) But I'll keep watching and see if they'll give the frog more airtime. Or...
Yeah. I saw that one and I found BB's voice was way off, but I don't think Matt was at fault for that. I think the voices are slowed down in the You Tube videos, so the combination of Matt doing BB and the way the sound quality was made BB sound more like season 1 Big Bird, especially in the...
That was cool, but it seems like they only used Eric's and Bill's characters for that one. Hopefully we'll see Kermit and the rest of the gang during the actual parade.
Yeah. I wonder why that was, he was out since the 70s and went through three different performers, but he was never that big in books or merchandising. Unless you're a devoted Muppet or SS fan like we are the name Telly Monster kind of escapes you. Those kids (it's "Teen Tournament" week on...
It was something Telly Monster's friend Richard Stollzman teaching him how to play the clarinet and they were asking what TV series it was. Answer being "Sesame Street" of course which none of the contestants knew.
Sorry to bump an old thread, but I'm glad to find that since they asked about this one on tonight's Jeopardy! episode. I was a bit surprised since Telly is rarely mentioned on other TV shows, like he's one of the lesser known SS Muppets. (None of the contestants knew the answer either.) I...
That's cool. They should probably market those. I could see a lot of money being made from merchandise from those characters. Then again, that's what sort of happened with Elmo as well in which case it wasn't so good. Oh, well. Just a thought.
