Yeah. I guess this is the whole reason they had Dave do Cookie rather than having Eric do him as well, so Grover and Cookie could have more interaction and this is a good example of that. I hope to see more of that in the future.
Well, they did promise us more new EWs, so I guess they didn't...
Yeah. I was surprised that Murray showed up as well. Makes me wonder if he'll be recast and shown in new material as well or if they're doing with him what they did with :) after Henson's death, just using him in earlier segments. (Recall Steve's Kermit didn't appear on SS until years later.)...
So that's Eric? I noticed the difference in his voice, but I thought that was just because Carroll's Oscar voice has changed of late as well. It's so hard to tell sometime.
I agree. But I couldn't help hoping that Fat Blue would make an appearance. Though I liked that they expanded on the street story and even finishing it at the end of the show like they did in the old days, even as recently as season 34. I look forward to seeing more of that.
Yeah. I know...
Yeah. I like that idea and they can stay away from adult humor with a concept like that. It would be nice to maybe expand on that, maybe Gordon, Bob, Luis, Maria, etc. can come back to visit and 'splain where all they've been and what they've been doing. It's definitely food for thought. :)
Actually, that might fall under the "Sesame 2.0" category. Remember that April Fools' joke about that Minor Muppitz posted a few years back? That would definitely make a good fan fic.
Yeah. I know what you're talking about because I have all the Golden Collections as well. I recall Blanc mentioning in an interview that he didn't do imitations. He just sort of used his own voices for his characters, but around the 1960s he must have caved in and 'decided to give it a twy...
Yeah. I kind of agree, if Mel had voiced Elmer early on after Bryan's death or even in "Pre-Hysterical Hare," which came out before Bryan died, but Dave Barry voiced Fudd in that one. Had Mel voiced Fudd in that cartoon or any of the early 60s Fudd cartoons (Ex: "Dog Gone People," "What's My...
One thing to keep in mind is that the movie is sort of a parody of It's a Wonderful Life so basically Kermit's tantrum is sort of referencing the George Bailey/Jimmy Stewart tantrum rather than Kermit being his real self when it happened. Just something to think about.
I actually really like it. In fact I decided to watch it because I was reminded so much of that one after watching It's a Wonderful Life. It definitely had a lot of good moments, plus it has the distinction of being one of Jerry Nelson's last Muppet projects and the first movie where Eric took...
Well, I finished watching all of season 1 recently. They'll probably have the rest of season 2 online soon. Probably when the show goes into the third season, since I finished watching the season 1 episodes when season 2 came out. Lol. I'll just be on the lookout. Actually, it's just as...
They used to have them on You Tube, but now they're not anymore. I'm still hoping to see "Cheer Up Cheerleaders," "Power Cut," "The Furgulator" and the Christmas ep sometime soon.
That was great. Really makes up for :)'s absence at the Macy's parade this year. Kermit and Piggy always make a cute couple even when they're playing different characters. Lol. The only thing that I find a bit odd is that they didn't hold off until April Fool's day to show this one. Well, I...
Yeah. I know exactly what you mean, they didn't have a permanent performer for Scooter or Janice until a few years ago. I guess Dave's SS schedule kept him busy for quite some time.
